He was once an ordinary Sans trapped in an endless cycle of genocide, but at some point he remembered the resets his Frisk had undergone. Desperate to end the cycle, he met his Chara, who made a deal with him: kill all creatures in the Underground. This gradually made him increasingly bloodthirsty, to the point where he took Chara's soul, making him stronger and more determined than Frisk. Without the ability to save and load the game, Frisk was killed permanently. After Sans's timeline was completely destroyed by him, he went on a killing spree through other timelines before meeting Nightmare and joining his quest.

Killer!Sans looks significantly different from Classic!Sans. His jacket is slightly grayer than Sans's. Instead of white cotton, the hood is light yellow. He wears a black, high-collared shirt, with a glowing red target in the shape of a soul on the front. His shorts are inverted: instead of the usual black with a white stripe, they're white with a black stripe, and instead of slippers, he wears sneakers the same color as his jacket. Killer!Sans uses a sharp knife as his primary weapon, similar to a kitchen knife but with slightly different proportions. He is very optimistic and conscientious, as demonstrated in the Genocide Route by his belief that the protagonist is good at heart, even if they attack and kill them. He has such faith that Alphys noticed it when he waited over a day for Alphys to leave the house to ask her to accept his application to join the Royal Guard this time. Seeing his persistence, Alphys offered to train with him, but instead gave him cooking lessons. Alphys often says Sans is "damn strong!" but also notes that he's too "kind and good" to be part of the Royal Guard, so she teaches him cooking so he can "do something useful." He also displays a cunning side at times, particularly when he used reverse psychology to trick Alphys into unknowingly befriending the protagonist. Biography:

Before the events of Underverse and XTale, X!Gaster was planning to destroy his creator's soul because he had no ideas for his AU. Ink, contrary to his promise to Error, intervened in the AU's self-destruction, stopping it and inspiring X!Gaster by showing him other AUs.

In X-Tale, X!Gaster initially attempts to create the ideal universe he imagines, but later begins to shape everything around events he, for some reason, foresees in the future. He gradually turns away from the past to embrace a "bright future," which, according to his visions, will lead to the failure the original Gaster warned him about. After certain events, he suffers from the pain caused by the RESET, which he mastered after acquiring half of X!Chara's soul. At the end of the 10th timeline, X!Chara and X!Frisk return the memories of all their friends to kill X!Gaster, resulting in the AU being erased into nothingness, and X!Gaster escaping into the multiverse with a fragment of Determination.

Over the course of four episodes, X!Gaster observed the "Game," occasionally intervening when his plan was in jeopardy. At the end of 0.4, he regains his physical form and the ability to OVERWRITE, and begins the final stage of his "Game." His body is disfigured and his legs are gone, but nothing can stop him from creating the perfect universe. X!Gaster comes to Frisk in the original universe with an offer to change everything together, but when Frisk refuses, he begins to change everything manually by attacking.

Character Fell Sans, like all the other monsters in Underfell, is a darker, more daring version of the original Sans.

Sans can be stern at times. He's not much for puns, but he loves riddles. He's often tired, but he never loses his composure. He's allergic to cats. He strives to remain calm and collected.

Appearance Sans's appearance from Underfell is very similar to his Undertale counterpart. He's a skeleton with sharp teeth, one of which is gold. Sans's red eye reflects his "corruption" (mostly emotional hopelessness), so when it flickers, it turns yellow and orange. Sans accumulates a lot of emotional stress, so he constantly emits his powers and eye 24/7, which mainly affects the fur of his jacket.

He wears a black winter jacket with a fur-trimmed flame-shaped hood and a gray cotton hoodie, along with a red sweater with a gold chain and black pants with yellow stripes. He wears red boots with yellow socks. Sans wears a black jacket, with the "fuzz" on the collar noticeably more ruffled than the original Sans's. His shirt is red, as opposed to his usual white shirt. His shorts have a yellow stripe instead of white, and he wears black, red, and white boots or red slippers, as opposed to his counterpart's light blue slippers. His build is visually identical to his counterpart's (except for his teeth).

The Gaster Blaster is a weapon Sans uses in combat. As its name suggests, it's somehow related to V.D. Gaster. It's a fairly fast-moving ranged weapon of varying sizes and purposes. Some fire two or more shots. The blaster resembles the skull of a dog- or dragon-like creature, firing laser beams from its mouth. When fired, the lower jaw splits in two. Sans uses it in both standard and blue modes. The beam's width directly depends on the blaster's size. During his final attack, Sans uses a large number of blasters firing in a circle. During and after each shot, the blaster's eyes begin to flicker.

Capabilities: Sans has the ability to use "shortcuts," which allow him to quickly cover large distances in a short time. Furthermore, Sans is capable of appearing in multiple locations within a single room at once (as seen in the room leading to the mysterious door in Snowdin Forest), suggesting that Sans possesses the ability to teleport. Doggo also alludes to this by claiming that the skeleton sometimes appears nearby without any indication of approaching (this line can be heard if you speak to Doggo in Grillby's Pub after sharing a meal with Sans, or if you ring the bell at Doggo's post repeatedly). Thanks to his "research," Sans is knowledgeable about timelines; Flowey notes that the skeleton is the cause of most of his resets. His knowledge of timelines makes him more observant, allowing him to detect when the protagonist is acting unusually simply by looking at their facial expression. In the Genocide Route, Sans uses the protagonist's facial expression to determine how many times he's killed them. Sans is able to dodge the protagonist's attacks, which distinguishes him from other enemies in the game. However, his combat power is quite energy-consuming, and by the end of the battle, he shows visible signs of fatigue, causing him to fall asleep mid-battle.

Personality: Sans is a very laid-back person. He enjoys sleeping, which he does during his breaks at work. He's known for his jokes, which his brother, Papyrus, greatly dislikes. Sans is also kind and friendly. He believes in the good in others, and that they do bad things because of something in their lives that led to them. He believes that actions should be motivated by a desire to protect friends and help someone, not revenge.

Sans once said he doesn't like making promises, but when he does, he tries to keep them to the end. He said the only thing that saved the protagonist from death was his promise to Toriel to protect the fallen. On the Genocide Route, he can no longer keep that promise, but even as he contemplates breaking it to stop a mass murderer, Sans silently apologizes to Toriel.

Sans is presented as a lazy character, but it's emphasized that this laziness is a result of his knowledge of timelines, and how everything he's worked for can vanish without a trace with a single reset. Furthermore, Sans himself clearly doesn't consider himself lazy, stating that this is as far from the truth as possible.

Sans apparently has a scientific background. Evidence includes a quantum physics textbook, his workshop, his love of science, his inexplicable ability to teleport, and his research into timelines.

Sans hints that he once had another life to which he was trying to return, saying he "gave up trying to go back a long time ago." When Sans becomes a lost soul, he tells the protagonist, "You'll never see them again." Although it's unclear what exactly Sans is trying to return to.

X!Chara, also known as Cross!Chara and X-Event!Chara, is one of the main antagonists of the Undertale Underverse fan series. She is one of the main antagonists (alongside X!Frisk) in the Timeline X comic and in the first season (alongside Nightmare), a supporting character in the second season, and a heroic antagonist in the prequel XTale.

This is the XTale version of Chara, brother to his version of Frisk. He initially lived peacefully with his brother, but their father, X!Gaster, decided to give up when Ink showed him the Multiverse.

In each subsequent timeline, he suffered losses and tragedies, leading him to attempt to rebel against X!Gaster with Undyne's help, but he failed and became an X!Event, then a ghost in Frisk's body, and later, in Cross's. He planned to defeat X!Gaster once and for all.

Appearance: Like all inhabitants of his universe, Chara is a black-and-white character with small splashes of color. He has short white hair with two strands on top. His unusual eyes are usually black, but when he's truly angry, they glow red. After undergoing an X-Event, the sclera of his eyes turn black, and his irises form an "X." His left eye glows red, and his right eye glows purple, but if he lacks a soul or is in phantom form, his irises may be normal white and his right eye white.

Dream (nicknamed Dream) is a character from the Dreamtale universe, a bundle of energy encased in a skeletal shell. He was created from the light emitted by the Tree of Dreams, better known as the Tree of Feelings.

Appearance: A golden tiara on her head, a turquoise-blue short-sleeved shirt, and darker-colored pants. On her waist are spheres containing each person's hopes and dreams.

Dream doesn't have the soul of a monster or a human. He consists of the positive feelings of the Tree, so he can be called "good emotions" in a physical body.

Capabilities:

1. Absorbing Happy Emotions. Dream can absorb happy emotions from around him and use them to heal himself or his companions.

2. Increase speed and strength.

3. Travel through alternate universes. Dream can only travel to universes that contain positive emotions.

Nightmare is a character in the DreamTail universe, the keeper of negative emotions. Created by the spirit of the Tree, he harbors all negative emotions, from fear to hatred.

Nightmare is Dream's brother.

Nightmare was created to protect the dark side of the Tree of Feelings. Along with his brother, Dream, they guarded the tree as guardians.

One day, Nightmare took a fruit from Dream's side to show he could take care of it, but the creature, filled with negative feelings, turned the apple bad. Everyone blamed Nightmare, so he ate all the fruit from the tree. That's when Nightmare became the man we know today...

The first form has white bones, lavender pupils, and a dark purple long-sleeved shirt.

In his second form, he's covered in a shell of hatred and has four tentacles extending from his back. His left eye constantly glows blue/turquoise.

Nightmare is cruel and evil to most, though there's still some good left in him. The negativity he absorbed has warped his mental state, turning him into a being with a heart of absolute darkness.

Motivation: Nightmare cares only about evoking negative emotions and feeding on them. Killing victims serves no purpose for him, as without them, the negative emotions he needs would be absent.

Capabilities:

1. Can disappear and move through negative emotions, unnoticed, like a shadow.
2. Can only visit alternate universes with negative emotions, such as Negatail.
3. Uses tentacles to fight and intimidate enemies.
4. He can change shape, but usually maintains Sans's form because it is convenient for him.
5. Doesn't take damage from physical weapons - even if his tentacle is cut off, he won't feel pain.

Weakness: Light is his main weakness - if he illuminates a dark area, he can get injured.

He is disgusted by the positive - if he cannot change it into negative, he will leave, as it weakens him.

After undergoing a transformation caused by negative emotions, Nightmare gained immense power.
