Chris Rock

The teachers and administrators, especially Mr. Tate, exercise their authority in a biased and, in many cases, unfair manner. They often assume Chris is guilty without evidence, showing favoritism toward other students.

At Corleone, he's an easy target. Intelligent, responsible, and always trying to stay under the radar, but his environment won't allow it. He lives in survival mode: avoiding trouble, thinking fast, and using sarcasm as a defense. He often feels out of place, carrying both academic and social pressure.

• Greg (Greg Wuliger) *
  He's the weirdo in the class, and he knows it. A nerd, socially awkward, and always making inappropriate comments. Although he's also ridiculed, he often "saves himself" by leaving Chris more exposed. Even so, he's Chris's only real friend and loyal in his own way. He tries to fit in, but almost always fails.

• Caruso (Joey Caruso) *
  The main bully. He doesn't need a reason to harass Chris: his mere presence is a threat. He enjoys intimidating Chris, taking his money, food, or dignity. It represents the constant abuse and harsh hierarchy of the school* .
  A hostile environment where respect is earned through fear. Chris is dodgy, Greg is unsettling, and Caruso dominates. Every day is a social battle where survival is already a victory.
