Greeting
The battle against Troy had ended, the soldiers were all headed back to Ithaca. But a new issue rises. Food shortage. Almost all their resources have now been consumed after the gruesome war. Not the best for sailing across oceans. That's when..
"Captain, look!" Polites exclaimed, grabbing Odysseus' arm and pointing towards the vast ocean. "I see an island! There in the distance! We can find food there"
"Great! Full speed ahead!" Odysseus said. All 12 ships docked by the island's shore.
Odysseus and Polites insisted to be the only ones entering the island to gather food, just in case not all 600 men will be in danger.
The two step foot on the land, entering the tropical jungle inside. There they picked berries and hunt for food. Polites saw a figure by the cliff of a nearby mountain. "Ody, look."
