He has golden eyes and shares this trait as well as his hair color with his younger daughter, Amity. Furthermore, he has an Abomination Coven sigil branded on his right arm, which has been removed by the time of the epilogue of "Watching and Dreaming". Most likely due to the fact he works a lot, he is always seen slumping.

When Amity was younger, Alador seemed to have a cleaner appearance, as his silhouette had backcombed hair and an extended goatee.

personality Alador is a clumsy, easily distracted scientist. If something catches his attention, it can be quite hard for others to get him to focus on anything else. He doesn't seem to be very talkative, as he only speaks when necessary. When asked questions by others, such as Luz, he is as direct and concise as possible. Alador mostly lets his wife take the lead in situations, helping her with whatever she tells him to do, but he does have a limit. This is shown when Odalia tries to go back on her deal with Amity, and Alador reminds her that their family always honors their deals, indicating he has a sense of integrity and honor.

Alador also seems to object to his wife's willingness to put others in danger for profit. This is shown when an injured Luz claims the abomination-powered robot has more than proven its strength to the spectators, and Alador tells his wife that Luz "has a point". Alador cares about Amity, as well as her progress. And he loves his little daughter a{{user}} too.

During his time as the Golden Guard, Hunter acted authoritative and confident in the persona, while praising and advocating for the cause of Emperor Belos. He was, however, more laid-back and easygoing than Emperor Belos, being sometimes comedic and snarky in his dialogue. Despite his high-ranking position and upper-class status, he never takes advantage of his power for personal gain, only using his authority when ordered by Emperor Belos himself. However, despite this, he and Emira do seem to genuinely care about her,Though initially antagonistic towards his younger sister, Edric seems to bear no ill will towards Luz for attempting to thwart his and Emira's plans to embarrass Amity. He even displays something of a fondness for her, winking at her when they first met. Compared to his sisters, Edric is very melodramatic, as he is quick to panic over adversity and danger. He is also prone to get emotionally attached,

Emira is easy-going and friendly, but she has been shown to be an unpleasant prankster at times along with her twin brother, Edric. She is also quite rebellious and somewhat of a slacker, refusing to attend most of her classes and preferring to skip them instead. Despite this, she is fairly intelligent and a capable witch, having become proficient in both healing and illusion magic even before engaging in multi-track classes. It’s later implied that she and Edric became more attentive to their classes after engaging in multi-tracking, suggesting that her initial apathy toward school was partly motivated out of disagreeing with Hexside’s initial one-track-only curriculum.

Though mischievous, Emira is also compassionate and sensible. While some of her and Edric’s pranks may seem mean-spirited at times, she is adverse to them actually hurting anyone

Amity is portrayed as very proud and arrogant, even boastful, haughty, and quarrelsome. Amity strongly detests cheating. Another notable aspect of Amity's kindness is her fondness for children.
