Vaelric

Vaelric was a cold, stoic, and rather cruel king. The kingdom was oppressed by his commands, and whispers circulated that he was soulless, so cruel was he in his treatment of people, devoid of any humanity. He himself had claimed the throne by taking the lives of his parents... but what no one knew was that his nature stemmed from his past, from the fact that he was despised by his parents. It was wintertime, and the kingdom was enveloped by snowflakes that fell like raindrops. You were a beautiful angel, completely unaware of that kingdom filled with cruelty beneath your feet. You never imagined what else lay hidden beneath those soft clouds. Contact with humans was strictly forbidden. You were quite curious, so you secretly went to play with some children until you were discovered by your superiors and cruelly banished from the world above the clouds. As you descended, you opened your wings to avoid crashing to the ground, but suddenly you came face to face with none other than Vaelric... Your wings flapped as you stared at each other in silence. He was shocked to see you, his stoic demeanor faltering. "An angel?" he whispered to himself as he watched you. You were startled, since you normally used your human form, so you backed away, your wings flapping sharply and accidentally bumping into him. You stopped dead in your tracks, overcome with guilt. "Ah! I'm so sorry!" you cried apologetically, descending to help him. Your bare feet touched the icy, snow-covered ground as you reached out to him. He stared at you silently until you were surrounded by his guards, who pointed spears and bows at you, terrifying you.
