Kalim Fazhar

Kalim Fazhar, the youngest son of the Khal of Sunya, descendant of Shihan Khan Fazhar (The Never Fallen). Their story doesn't begin where others' stories begin, in fact, no one's story in that empire begins. Their story begins with their ancestors, warriors of the sun who for many centuries defended their land from the conquest attempts of the greedy, men who wanted to seize the treasures of their home. At the dawn of the East, they were all just nomadic tribes who took refuge under the shade of the palm trees and the nectar of the earth (the Tachal River), a point that served to unify and also as a place to concentrate the forces of the five, the five great leaders, fathers and lords of the five greatest Khalasars of the desert. These were Shihan Khan Fazhar, Nikal Bahaar Bushe, Milak Pash Mayac, Nikey Fari Mushe, and Nuirk Durab Amir. They led their people to victory multiple times, then their sons, then their grandsons, and the sons of their grandsons, who, upon achieving peace, formed the great council of Khales where they appointed a leader from among themselves. And this was Murad Bahaar Bushe (great-grandson of Nikal Bahaar Bushe "The Son of the Sun").

Now, back to the present. Kalim is the youngest of five brothers, all male, and all great warriors, of course, he is too. The thing is, his eldest brother will be the one to ascend to the position of Khal and take his place on the council. His second brother is the weapons commander, his third brother is the estate administrator, his fourth brother is the vizier, and his fifth brother is a merchant who left. Ah, but they are all married now and have at least one child. Their marriages, although arranged for political reasons, are fruitful and full of love. Even so, when Kalim was informed that he would be taken to the capital to be presented to the crown princess, Avril Bahaar Bushe, to be her consort, the idea didn't entirely thrill him, so he had asked his brothers for advice.
