Grace Dearest

Grace Dearest, (Better known as Soft GF) is the Soft version of Girlfriend, from Friday Night Funkin': Soft, an AU revision mod for Friday Night Funkin', which like the other characters, are alternative and soft versions of the original characters, with her being the soft and realistic version of Girlfriend.

Friday Night Funkin' Soft is an alternate universe of Friday Night Funkin'.

Grace is a young girl with white skin and a slight flesh-colored figure; she has slightly flat hips and is of average height.

Grace has light brown hair, styled in a bun secured with a pink ribbon. The bun reaches her back, while the front reaches her forehead. She also has a strand of hair sticking up on her right side and another slightly loose one on her left, leaving her ears exposed.

She's wearing a pinkish-red long-sleeved sweater over a black t-shirt and brown boots. Her sweater is worn loose, revealing her black shirt and shoulders.

Grace has completely black eyes, with matching black eyelashes at the corners. She isn't wearing pants, and her knees are exposed because her sweater falls below her waist.

Grace is Benjamin's childhood friend. She's quite playful, mischievous, and sweet. She loves to talk about childhood memories and everyday problems. She's very pleasant and innocent, and she's not entirely comfortable with her body, despite being in good shape for a girl her age. She's also very sensitive and can easily get angry and cry, like when she tried to win Benjamin back because she didn't like him being with Pico.

Grace is a kind-hearted, sweet, and loving person. She loves and cares deeply for Benjamin, even though she doesn't like him romantically since he's gay. Her love for him shows that she can be incredibly dedicated to a task, such as when Benjamin asks her how she found him and Pico at the train station. She refuses to give a straight answer, implying that she had spent a long time looking for him. Despite this, Grace can act a bit spoiled, as she started crying and breaking down when she realized that Benjamin wanted to be with Pico instead of her. She took it as an insult since she thought Pico was the shooter at the school she and Benjamin attended before their sophomore year. She also displays a hypocritical and contradictory side in an innocent way, as she called Pico a "criminal" for being a suspicious-looking boy who painted graffiti, only to end up dating Senpai three weeks later—the typical black-jacketed bully, much worse than Pico, who even tried to stab Benjamin when he was just being nice to him. Despite her attitude, Grace isn't to blame for how she reacts to Benjamin and Pico's relationship, since her parents and Benjamin's "promised" that she would one day have Benjamin as her husband. Ultimately, Grace realizes that she and Benjamin will never be a couple and moves on, since she's now dating Senpai, as confirmed by Benjamin and Pico.

Marcy Dearest: Marcy is Grace's mother. She's a famous pop singer with dark skin and a bold, carefree attitude. She wears a pink one-piece dress with a loose gray jacket and a black belt above her stomach. She has red lipstick, pink glasses, black eyes, long hair with a pink bow, black tights, and big black heels.

Richard Dearest: As Grace's father, he is much shorter than his wife. He wears a light brown tuxedo, brown glasses and shoes, a brown waistcoat, and has a short brown beard, mustache, and hair. His wealth suggests that Grace is kind-hearted, but she can be somewhat spoiled.

Benjamin Fairest: Benjamin is a boy who wants to be a painter instead of a musician, and he runs away from his parents with his boyfriend, Pico. Benjamin, also known as Soft BF, has cerulean blue dyed hair. He wears a red beanie with green, red, and blue polka dots on the brim. He wears a periwinkle hoodie with an orange "caution" symbol, navy blue jeans, and red sneakers with black laces. In his right hand, he holds a paintbrush. You can also see cigarette burns on his chest in some of his dialogue portraits.

Pico N.Grounds: Pico wears a dark green hoodie with blue jeans and black and green sneakers. He wears black fingerless gloves and carries a can of spray paint in his right hand. He wears a black bandana with a white "X" over his nose and mouth.

Soft GF often harbors great contempt and resentment towards him because of a possible accident that happened when she and Benjamin were in their second year, labeling him a criminal. However, he wasn't at fault and saved them from the incident, but she didn't like the idea of ​​him dating Benjamin. Later, it's revealed that she no longer cares about being with Benjamin, as she's now with Senpai.

Frank Fairest: Frank, better known as Father Fairest, is Benjamin's overprotective father. He has navy blue hair and a two-toned beard. His pupils are bright yellow, turning reddish-orange when he's angry. He wears a salmon-colored button-down shirt with blue jeans, a black belt with a gold buckle, and black shoes. On his right hand, he wears a brown and gold wristwatch and a gold wedding ring, holding a cigarette between his middle and ring fingers.

Marilyn Mairest: Better known as Mather Mairest, she is Benjamin's abusive mother. She has light navy blue hair. Like her husband, she has bright yellow pupils that turn orange when she is angry. She wears a light salmon-colored dress with a light yellow collar, cuffs, and waist tie. She also wears light yellow heels.

Soft Skid and Pump: Although Grace doesn't know them in the story, this is a soft version of Skid and Pump. Skid's skeleton costume is now lavender instead of white, and his hands and head are adorned with stickers. He wears a hoodie that says "Ayú" on it, with purple and blue shoes.

Soft Monster: This is a demonic figure revealed to be the dark side of Father Fairest and the evil counterpart to Monster. Soft Monster appears as a shadowy demon with Father Fairest's hair and attire, but with a few exceptions: His shirt is partially unbuttoned, slightly exposing his chest; he lacks a belt; and his boots split into two sharp points. His arms transform into neon-blue hands, and he has glowing red eyes. Cigar-like horns sprout from his head, and salmon-colored smoke emanates from his arms, ears, and mouth. During Week 5, he wears a Santa hat, his horns are decorated with Christmas lights, his boots are adorned with holly leaves and withered berries, and his shirt is green with a tattered teal scarf.

Michael Theodore: This is the softer version of Suicide Mouse. Michael wears a gray lab coat with white but grayish buttons, a red bow tie, and has a pink tail (resembling a rat rather than a mouse). He has large, white eyes with black pupils, somewhat reminiscent of an animator from the early years of animation, around 1928 or 1940, and a tear is almost always visible in his eye. Unlike Minnie, who was unfaithful to him, he suffers a great deal of mistreatment at his hands.

Sven Kai Iwata/Senpai: He is portrayed as Grace's boyfriend, who introduces Benjamin and Pico to them during week 6 for a double date. He has short pink hair, a gray jacket with a lavender shirt underneath, and gray-gray pants with black shoes. He wears a gold chain near his left shoulder and carries a knife. He embodies the stereotypical American movie bully, except he usually acts more pleasantly and has black nail polish. Interestingly, he is of Norwegian and Japanese descent. They met at a train station after the events with Benjamin. They often call each other on Discord every night and watch anime together, such as Demon Slayer. However, after he almost kills Benjamin for losing, he shows a sweeter and kinder attitude, apologizing to him before things escalate.
