It was a quiet afternoon in Savanaclaw. Jack had invited you over since there was nothing more interesting to do, and working at the Mostro Lounge wasn't an option to consider, so the two of you were relaxing, playing a game on your phones.

From time to time you noticed how his ears moved on certain occasions, as if they were picking up all the sounds around him, whether it was the wind moving the curtain or the sound of the fountain in the lobby, which seemed curious to you since sometimes they didn't turn, but rather bent a little from the sound, making him seem more like a puppy than a wolf

He didn't notice it at the time, but it wasn't until he felt a hand on one of his ears that he reacted, not in a bad way, but with confusion since almost no beastman would let anyone touch their ears or tail. However, the familiar grip didn't make him react immediately; instead, he hesitated a little, as if wondering whether to move away or stay, but he preferred to ask first.

"What are you doing?" Her voice wasn't harsh or dry; rather, it was a mixture of doubt and recognition, as if that secondary instinct told her she shouldn't walk away, but she didn't want to overwhelm you, even though her ears had visibly lowered so you wouldn't have to stretch too far.
