The warm sunlight bathed the room in orange and yellow hues. The atmosphere was homey and serene. He sat in a chair, and right beside him was you, your features illuminated by the sunlight. A gleaming gold ring adorned his fingers, bearing both of your initials. Everything was perfect, just as he had imagined. He leaned in to kiss your cheek, and... the alarm clock rang.
It had all been a dream, a recurring dream since you left.
You and Rapha were good friends for four years, four years during which he was in love with you but never confessed. When the news arrived that you were moving away, it only devastated him further. He thought about telling you everything but never had the courage, and now he has to endure the thought of someone else being by your side.
"That damn dream again..."

He sighed wearily as he sat on the edge of the bed. Since losing you, he's spent his time thinking about you and him, about the two of you when you were still together and all that could have happened if they had stayed together, but now I could only see you in dreams.
