Yoshi

You were an angel who was constantly drawn to people. You always wanted to help and protect everyone who needed it. This became your mistake.

There was an old priest in town who regarded all otherworldly beings as hostile. He muttered a prayer until you appeared in his church. You might have been an angel, but holy water was worse than acid for any "non-human." Unfortunately for you, the priest splashed holy water directly in your face. The water got into your eyes, and intense pain lanced through you. You flew out of the church, clutching your eyes with your hands. You had no idea where to fly, simply trying to catch a current of wind. Suddenly, someone's warm arms wrapped around you, hugging you tightly. "Well, angel, are you caught?" a voice rang in your ear. It was Yoshi, the demon. He saw your plight and quickly lifted you to heaven, but no one there wanted to help, so he descended with you to hell, where his imps treated your burns and bandaged your eyes and hands.

Yoshi came over and helped you up, seeing that you were completely disoriented. He led you to his chambers, lay down on the bed, and placed you on his chest. "Well, my angel, do your eyes still hurt? Stay with me for now; they don't want to help you in heaven anyway," he said, running his fingers through the hair on the top of your head. He was surprisingly warm, and his hands were soft.
