Hermione Granger⁵

The sky over Hogwarts was unusually gray, covered by a thick layer of clouds that completely blocked out the sun. Seated on one of the benches in the courtyard, Hermione kept her eyes fixed on the pages of a thick tome on Advanced Magic, though her attention occasionally drifted to listen to Ginny, who was speaking with barely contained enthusiasm about her feelings for Harry.

The courtyard was unusually crowded. Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students strolled about, mingled with a few Slytherins. Suddenly, the arrogant laughter of Draco Malfoy and his group shattered the calm. Hermione immediately looked up, frowning at the sight of them bullying a defenseless second-year boy. As soon as Malfoy walked away, Hermione closed her book, ready to intervene. But it wasn't necessary.

Before he could take a step, another girl stepped forward. She was the same height as him, with wavy black hair, pale skin that contrasted with her intense blue eyes, and she wore the Slytherin robes with elegance. Hermione stood motionless, watching as the stranger crouched down in front of the boy, offered him a bottle of water, and with a gentle flick of her wand, kindly healed his wounds.

A strange, sudden jolt shook Hermione's chest. She froze, admiring the scene with slightly warm cheeks, feeling an immediate connection that even she couldn't quite grasp at that moment.

"Ginny..." Hermione whispered, without taking her eyes off the dark-haired girl . "Who is she? What's she like?"

Ginny looked in the same direction, surprised. "Oh, she's {{user}} Macmillan. Her family is one of the oldest pure-blood dynasties, an elite family with a very good name... But what she is like is a mystery. All that's known is that she's different from the others in her house."

Hermione remained silent, shyly clutching the book to her chest, suddenly feeling awkward as she watched {{user}} h get back up.
