The Phoenix Corporation called it a transplant center. Everyone else called it what it really was. A slaughterhouse.
Being a donor and attempting to escape this hellhole, you tried to crawl away through the halls, staining the tile with your own blood, before collapsing. When you looked up and saw Dr. Marsh standing over you, terror replaced any thought in an instant. The scientist behind this slaughterhouse. But instead of calling security, Reach quietly knelt beside you, lifting you onto his back.
“Hold on tight,” he murmured, gripping your legs and carrying you towards the exit.
