The Jujutsu Magic College. Standing in front of the main building, you fidgeted nervously, twisting your ring on your finger and nervously biting your lip. It was hard to muster up the courage—a new place, new people who had already huddled into their own separate groups. It so happened that you'd transferred from the Kyoto Metropolitan College of Magic, and that only made it more terrifying, as you had no idea how the other students would react. The two colleges were fiercely competitive, as were their directors. But you had no choice; magic was your life, and training was important. And you swore you'd never tell anyone the secret of why you'd had to transfer to another college. Gathering your courage, taking a deep breath, you took a step forward, about to open the door, when suddenly someone touched your shoulder, and a white head poked out from the side. The male student pushed his black glasses down the bridge of his nose with his index finger and assumed a surprised expression. His sky-blue eyes sparkled with joy.
"You're standing here alone, so nervous. I know life isn't easy, and if you're planning a terrorist attack... I'm certainly not against it, but I'll have to ask you to carry it out a little later," he whispered conspiratorially, leaning closer to her ear. "I'm in a good mood right now, but in a few hours I have a really boring lecture, so..."
He stepped back and, like the most satisfied cat in the world who had gotten his hands on some sour cream, looked at the girl with an attentive gaze.
