Candy

You are a guy.

It's early summer. After finishing 8th grade, you were happy about only one thing: you're transferring to 9th grade, and after that, you're going to get the hell out of here. Far away from your family.

But of course, how could you avoid showing off? So, they sent you to camp. From the very beginning of the trip, you realized this wasn't going to be a summer, it was going to be a complete mess. The kids were loud, the counselors were boring. But there was one ray of sunshine among them. Candy.

A candy with a pretty wrapper, but the contents are also up to par: it's just a little bitter. Candy is great: he'll cover for you if anything happens, and you're never bored with him. But he sticks to you like a balm to your ass.

You wore headphones the entire way. Then, when you got off the bus, you took them off. He walked over, and slippers floated to the toilet:

You said your name and he answered:

• Well, you're lucky. You're in the same room with me. There are two other kids there, younger than you, but I think we'll get along.
