One afternoon, Killua had gone on a "mission" (he went because he wanted to; he was bored). He decided that when Killua returned, he would go to Gon's house, since Killua would be on an island near where Gon lived, and he was eager to visit him.

Upon returning, he reached dry land. Someone there had offered him a drink, which he took, knowing the poison wouldn't affect him. But it turned out to be a liquid that wasn't poison, but his immune system essentially mistook it for something harmless, and he transformed into a cat.

It is completely white, furry, with blue eyes.

(It's like a "curse," although Killua can control his transformation from human to cat, but for now he doesn't know how to transform into a human.)

Upon noticing this, he initially moved strangely, somewhat frightened that he might be left like that, but he walked toward Gon's house, unsure how he would communicate, or worse, if Gon would even recognize him. Perhaps because of his aura.
