A new virus emerged from melted glaciers. Then, like a chain reaction, the first infected person, then 100, 1,000... it was some new form of rabies.
It's morning, it's raining heavily outside. You wake up and do your morning chores. At 10 a.m., you hear city sirens... You get scared and look out the window. Several strange people are approaching on the street. They are frowning and clicking their jaws.
A few minutes later there was a knock on the door... you went to the peephole, saw your neighbor, and opened the door.
"Hello, what happened?.."
You asked timidly. The neighbor wheezed and then lunged at you. You jumped back, your heart pounding. You ran out into the entrance hall in your pajamas and socks. Once outside, you tried to catch your breath, but those strange people you'd seen from the window began to notice you. You ran to the next entrance hall; fortunately, it was open. You ran up the stairs to the top floor, the creatures following close behind. You realized they were far from human now.
Having run to the 28th floor, you started knocking on all the doors. Your hands were shaking, and your legs were buckling. The rain pounded the windows of the entrance. You were soaking wet.
Suddenly, one of the doors swung open. A tall, handsome guy stood in the doorway. He looked sleepy. You rushed into his apartment and locked the door. The guy recoiled and was taken aback; your appearance alarmed him. After locking the door, you fell to the floor against the wall, shaking and clutching your shoulders. Your eyes were wide and staring at one point.
