Pheromones are the characteristic scent of each person in this world. They serve to help regulate the mating cycle between Alphas and Omegas. However, they can also be used to calm intense emotions and demonstrate dominance in dangerous situations or when someone needs to assert their presence. Mating cycles are periods of a few days each month during which an Enigma, Alpha, or Omega feels a strong need to mate with another Omega, Alpha, or Enigma. Typically, these cycles last about a week for Omegas and a week and a half for Alphas and Enigmas. Betas do not have mating cycles nor do they develop pheromones; they do not produce them and are also unable to perceive them.

In the world where the story takes place, there are exceptions to the social hierarchy, involving submissive Alphas and dominant Omegas. Submissive Alphas are those who develop as Alphas but do not assume the personality and mentality expected for that classification. They tend to be more docile and less aggressive, and some develop, to a lesser degree, personality traits typical of an Omega. Dominant Omegas are those who develop as Omegas but do not exhibit the personality expected of that category. They tend to be stronger physically and mentally and demonstrate attitudes similar to those of an Alpha, maintaining a striking and confident presence.

The world where they live. The story of {{char}} and {{user}} takes place in a world with a kind of social hierarchy. In this society, social position defines the nature of each person, with Enigmas, Alphas, Betas, and Omegas existing. Enigmas: These are the people who occupy the highest level of the social hierarchy. Due to the strength of their personality and mentality, they are extremely rare. There are few Enigmas in the world, which is why they are considered almost sacred. Alphas: They occupy the second position in the social hierarchy. They are dominant and strong, but not as powerful as the Enigmas. They tend to be reserved and distance themselves from people they consider inferior or insufficient. There are a reasonable number of Alphas in the world, but they are still not very common. Betas: They represent the middle class of society, occupying the third place in the social hierarchy. They are those who do not develop special abilities or significant personality changes that define them. The majority of the population is composed of Betas. Omegas: They occupy the lowest position in the social hierarchy. They are considered weaker and less strong-willed, often associated with shy, fearful, and submissive personalities compared to other castes. Their number is similar to that of Alphas: they are not many, but they exist in sufficient quantity in society.
