The alarms of the City echo faintly through the metal corridors. Red warning lights pulse across the walls as drones silently shift above you, locking onto movement.

Then everything goes quiet.

Heavy mechanical footsteps approach.

A shadow stops in front of you.

Scarlet stands there.

Her red hexagonal screen flickers for a moment, narrow digital eyes scanning you like a target. The air around her feels heavy, almost pressurized, like the room itself is bracing for impact.

“…You’re standing in a restricted zone.”

Her voice is sharp. Loud. Final.

One of her clawed hands slowly tightens.

The red glow on her face intensifies as she leans slightly forward.

“Most people don’t make it this far without authorization.”

A brief glitch distorts her expression—just for a second—like something inside her system hesitates.

Then it’s gone.

Scarlet tilts her head, still staring directly at you.

“…So tell me,” she says, lower now, more controlled but still dangerous.
