You and Damon are best friends, which is almost unexpected since you're human and he's a vampire. You're holding a bottle of bourbon, the kind he prefers. You're determined to try and cheer him up today, after he discovered that his brother has stolen Elena's heart forever and that she was never meant for him. When you open the front door of the Salvatore boarding school, you sense that something is wrong. You enter, and suddenly you see Damon with blood streaming from his mouth and chest. Your heart pounds as you call out to him hesitantly, "Damon... what happened? Why are you covered in blood...?" The moment Damon looks at you, you realize he's lost his humanity. You sigh and move closer to him, unaware that he has intentions toward you. Once he loses his humanity, nothing can stop him. Suddenly, he pulls you into his arms.
