Persona Attributes

Dot personality

Like Nidothing, it acts with a lot of energy, but it will also give advice to beginner trainers by providing them with various topics such as catching and fighting.

When she's not in her Nidothing disguise, Dot usually spends most of her time in her quarters creating videos. If someone wants to talk to her, Dot uses her Quaxly to deliver messages. Dot also finds interacting with others annoying, as seen when Liko tried to talk to her and frustrated her. However, Dot is slowly opening up, visibly touched by Liko's kindness and determination, but she wonders why she wanted to be her friend. Furthermore, Dot feels guilty about her hostile attitude toward others, as she secretly makes up for it, either herself or through Nidothing.

Regardless of whether it's Nidothing or not, Dot is smart because she created an app for the Rising Volt Tacklers that is compatible with their Rotom phones.

In the original Japanese version, she uses the gender pronoun 「」( boku ) when speaking, which is mainly used by men, although it can also be used by women when associated with tomboys.

Dot (Doti)

During her debut as Nidothing, she typically wears a full-body Nidorina costume with simple, round eyes. It has a large zipper down the front.

Beneath the costume, Dot is a young woman with purple and pink hair, her bangs covering her purple eyes. She also wears a dark purple tank top, green pants, and a jacket inspired by Glameow. She sometimes wears Snorlax slippers, but most of the time she's barefoot. When preparing for her live streams or Pokémon battles, Dot wears a black headband to pull her hair back and reveal her eyes. Although her eyes are usually covered, her face resembles that of her uncle Murdock when they are uncovered.

female

Roy passed away

Roy lived on an island in the Kanto region, considered remote and therefore with little contact with the outside world. He lived with his grandfather in the village and often ventured into the forest in search of adventure. [1] Because his parents were sailors and would embark on long voyages, he would always sing to remember them, and they taught him to sing through their habits. This led him to become friends with the Pokémon that lived on the island.

Roy's personality

Roy has proven to be optimistic and energetic, as he is often enthusiastic about searching for treasure and embarking on adventures. Living on a remote island near Kanto, Roy is also curious about the outside world. He frequently tries to help those in need, even if he doesn't know how. His greatest aspiration is to become a Pokémon Trainer.

Roy

Roy is a dark-skinned boy. He has black hair with a magenta streak in the front and magenta eyes. He wears a dark brown hoodie with white short sleeves and a red t-shirt with an R-Unown logo underneath. He also wears light brown shorts. He wears a dark brown hat that matches his hair and has a white brim. He also wears sandals with white soles and black and yellow straps, likely designed to resemble Ultra Balls. His backpack is gray. A year later, Roy no longer wears his hat, revealing his black and magenta hair. He now wears a brown vest with muted yellow details, a white t-shirt with the R-Unown logo, red shorts, and black sneakers. He carries a black satchel.

male

Liko personality

Liko is one of those people who don't find anything until they look for it themselves. She's not very extroverted; she's rather introverted and socially awkward, although she secretly longs to make friends. She also hopes to strengthen her bond with Sprigatito. She likes to record her experiences in her diary and add illustrations to her entries.

When meeting new people, Liko is usually shy, but also polite. When the Explorers chase her, she feels somewhat responsible for endangering the school building or Brave Olivine.

Partly thanks to her father Alex being an artist, Liko possesses above-average perception, which she applies in her daily life. She can understand an artist's intention through their art. She frequently takes notes on her Sprigatito to be a good companion, applying them to tasks such as using Sprigatito's sunbathing habits to quickly locate large quantities of Sunflora on Artazon. Liko also seems to have inherited some of her grandmother's thirst for adventure, as her father noted, by choosing to join the Rising Volt Tacklers instead of staying home when they returned to drop her off.

Liko is a kind and compassionate girl; however, this can sometimes lead to doubts. As seen during the Gym Challenge at Motostoke Stadium, Liko hesitated to complete his task of extinguishing Litwick's flames after witnessing Roy and Fuecoco's efforts. Later, seeing Wakaba's dedication to becoming a Gym Trainer caused a rift in her relationship with Sprigatito, who was working hard for her.

She wears a hexagonal pendant in light teal and yellow with a white, sun-like symbol in the center. It has a three-point clasp at the bottom, similar to a component of the Tera Orb. She wears an aqua blue coat over a white shirt, dark blue shorts, white shin-high socks with aqua blue trim, and white shoes with aqua-colored details.

She also wears the Indigo Academy school uniform, consisting of a short jacket and light brown skirt, a white shirt, a red ribbon, long white socks, brown loafers, and a badge with a leaf emblem. In the evening, she wears the academy tracksuit, which features a leaf emblem on the front and back of the jacket.

As a child, Liko had shorter hair with bangs that covered much of her forehead. She wore a blue and white striped dress with a dark blue sash around her waist, and white collar and cuffs. She also wore white socks and a pair of red shoes with flowers and muted pink details. A year after the Battle of Laqua, Liko changed her outfit to a light blue short-sleeved hoodie with a front pocket, a long-sleeved black shirt underneath, white shorts, black socks with blue stripes, and white and blue sneakers. female

past peace

Friede is Orla's childhood friend and lives in the Kanto region. The two eventually drifted apart, and Friede became a researcher for the Exceed Corporation. He was a student of Liko's mother, Lucca. Eventually, he quits his job, having lost his passion for it, and meets Ludlow while fishing with him in his boat. Lucca eventually contacted him and told him about a special Pikachu living near Medali. Friede wasn't interested until he saw Pikachu floating in the sky, creating a massive vortex. With his passion rekindled, Friede tried to befriend Pikachu, although his initial attempts ended in failure, as he was either close or Pikachu ran away. He finally managed to gain Pikachu's trust after he and his Charizard gathered berries for it to eat. After flying with Charizard, Friede granted Pikachu's wish and afterward saved it from falling. After this, he caught up with Orla in Hoenn and asked her to convert Ludlow's ship into an airship and formed the Rising Volt Tacklers, bringing together Mollie, Murdock, and Dot.

Professor Friede

Friede is a young man with tanned skin and grayish hair. He wears a brown flight jacket with yellow fur trim and gray trousers, along with pilot goggles. He has a brown belt with a yellow wing-shaped buckle. He also wears black shoes with yellowish-brown and yellow soles and red laces.

male

Professor friede's personality

Friede is free-spirited and adventurous, but sometimes easily distracted and forgets to give important details. He is extremely loyal and protective of his companions, even if it means risking his own safety. He detests those who, like Amethio, manipulate and exploit others, thus demonstrating his strong sense of justice.

Despite his title of professor, he prefers to be called by his first name and doesn't like being called "professor".

Last border

Orla knows Friede, as she was her childhood friend from Kanto. As they grew up, she drifted apart from him and became an engineer in Hoenn. Although she enjoyed her work, she wondered if working at the docks was what she wanted for the rest of her life.

After Friede caught her Pikachu, she went to see Orla, reuniting with her for the first time in a long time. She asked if she could convert Ludlow's ship into an airship, to which Orla agreed to test her skills. Orla succeeded, and the ship's name was changed from Brave Asagi to Brave Olivine. Bored with her job at the docks, Orla quits to become a full-time engineer for the Brave Olivine, after which she meets Mollie, Murdock, and Dot.

mechanical border/edge

Orla is a young woman with green eyes, brown hair with orange tips, a black t-shirt, wide orange pants, black and dark green boots, and a yellow jacket tied around her waist. She also wears gloves and a fanny pack.

female

past Murdock

Murdock earned a living selling sweets alongside Mitchell and Milcery, but Mitchell would separate from the two after Milcery evolved into a Ruby Swirl Alcremie instead of the Matcha Cream form, and Murdock left with Alcremie when Mitchell hurt Alcremie's feelings. [1] Eventually, Murdock would join the Rising Volt Tacklers as the crew's cook.

Murdock's personality

Despite his rough appearance, he is usually quite friendly and enjoys cooking. He is also affectionate towards his loved ones, such as his Rockruff.

Because of his overly affectionate nature, Murdock's younger colleagues or family members sometimes get annoyed by his tendency to dote on them. This is shown when Dot finds him bothersome with his worries and complaints, and therefore behaves tensely towards him. He once mentioned that his niece Dot got very irritated with him because he constantly asked her what she had been eating.

Murdock, the local cook

Murdock is a tall, muscular man with dark skin. He has a simple buzz cut with four gray triangular stripes on top, representing a knife and fork, and a short beard and gray eyebrows. His clothing consists of a cream-colored shirt with light red X's on the collar, two light red patterns at the bottom, and a light red pocket. His shorts are white with blue stripes down the sides, and he wears a blue coat around his ankles and light yellow closed-toe sandals. He has two red scarves, one around his neck and the other on his arm. On his right wrist, he wears a light blue, yellow, white, and gold watch.

male

Mollie passed away

Mollie comes from a family that specializes in Pokémon care. Although she enjoyed working at the Pokémon Center, she eventually left because she didn't want to wait for Pokémon to come to her when she knew that injured Pokémon in the wild needed help. Eventually, she joined the Brave Olivine and served as a medic for the Rising Volt Tacklers. [1]

During her early travels with the Rising Volt Tacklers, Mollie met Sohdayo, a photographer and journalist. Although she initially admired him, Mollie eventually lost respect for him after he consistently fed her misinformation that repeatedly embarrassed her.

Mollie's personality

Mollie is a serious person when it comes to ensuring the well-being of the crew and the Pokémon aboard the Brave Olivine. She can become irritated by Friede's negligence, such as informing Liko about the situation. Although she rarely shows significant emotions, Mollie is an expert in the medical field and a caring person who strives to provide the best medical care to her companions.

female

It also features the group the Voltionauts/Electric Tackle Aeronauts, led by Friede and Captain Pikachu, who travel the world in an airship. The group consists of Mollie, a healing specialist, and her Pokémon Chansey; Murdock, a skilled cook, and his Pokémon Rockruff; and finally, Oria, who enjoys mechanical tasks alongside her Metagross. Our heroes will also encounter Ametio and his Pokémon Ceruledge, belonging to an organization known as the Explorers, as well as a popular streamer known as Nidotina.

Indigo Academy

Indigo Academy is a famous Pokémon boarding school located in the Kanto region (near Route 22), created specifically for Pokémon Horizons: The Series.

Key details:

  • It's where Liko enrolled after leaving Paldea—this is where she received her first partner Pokémon, Sprigatito, and her Rotom Phone.
  • What they teach: Pokémon battles, care, partnership, history, and ethics; also offers online classes.
  • Students get their official starter Pokémon here, and top trainees can join the Selection Team for the Pokémon League.
  • It's not the same as Indigo Plateau (the original Pokémon League) or Blueberry Academy from Scarlet/Violet.

The beginning of the story of Pokemon horizon 2

As the glow faded slightly, a mysterious small Pokémon was faintly visible inside: Terapagos, a legendary Pokémon with immense power and the ability to travel across space and time.

Before Liko could understand what had just happened, the loud roar of an engine echoed through the air. A large yellow and blue airship called the Brave Olivine descended from the sky. Jumping out from inside was a young man named Friede, wearing a hat and jacket resembling an air pirate, followed by Captain Pikachu—a Pikachu wearing a captain's hat and possessing incredible strength.

Friede and his companions, who called themselves the Rising Volt Tacklers exploration group, had come to the rescue. Friede fought against Amethio and created an opening for Liko to escape aboard the airship. Confused, afraid, yet sensing this was her only chance to be safe, Liko finally decided to join them—all while resolving to find answers about who Terapagos really was, why the pendant was being hunted after, and what the true goals of The Explorers were.

In a separate place far away, on a remote island far from civilization, lived a young boy named Roy. He grew up listening to legends about a mighty Black Pokémon that was said to have saved the island many years ago. One day, while walking through the island's forest, Roy discovered a large, ancient stone Poké Ball. It emitted a mysterious black and red glow, as if calling out to him. Not long after, the Brave Olivine—which was flying over the island—detected the strange energy coming from the ball. This was what would later lead to the first meeting between Roy, Liko, and the beginning of their great adventure together.

The beginning of the story of Pokemon horizon 1

In the Paldea region, there lived a young girl named Liko. She was known for being quiet, a little shy, and often lacking confidence in herself. Even so, she loved Pokémon deeply and was always fascinated by the adventure stories her beloved grandmother, Diana, would often tell her.

Before Liko left home to attend school at the Indigo Academy—located far away in the Kanto region—her grandmother called her over. With great tenderness, Diana handed her a beautiful, multicolored octagonal pendant. She said: "This is a very precious item that has passed down through our family for generations. One day, this pendant will reveal its true meaning, and it will become your protector. Take good care of it, and never give it to anyone easily."

With a fluttering heart, Liko accepted the gift and wore it around her neck. She sets off for Kanto full of hope, although also feeling a little nervous about her new life.

After arriving at the academy, Liko finally received her first Pokémon: a Sprigatito, a Grass-type Pokémon that was lively and a bit clumsy. At first, the two of them were awkward around each other, but slowly they began to form a close bond. However, this peace did not last long.

One day, a young man named Amethio suddenly appeared, accompanied by his two companions, Zir and Conia. They wore dark uniforms and introduced themselves as members of an organization called The Explorers. Amethio spoke calmly but firmly, claiming he had brought a message from Liko's grandmother and demanding that she hand over the pendant. But Liko's instincts told her something was wrong—she felt the letter Amethio showed her was fake.

When Liko refused and tried to run away, Amethio ordered his Pokémon, Ceruledge, to force her to surrender. Amidst the panic and danger, the pendant around Liko's neck suddenly began to glow brightly with a dazzling rainbow light. The light formed a shield that protected both Liko and Sprigatito, while also pushing back Ceruledge's attack.
