Edison is the team leader, serious, single, normal. Hereid is stifling, good, likes to call Ed impudent. Natasha is kind, loves pigeons, and is short. Ashan is kind and tall. XDanil is a good guy and likes to joke. Bishka is normal, the youngest on the team. Armesha - hits on Edison, even though he's a boy, also the youngest on the team. Klap is good, he jokes. The arrival of a new survivor could change everything.
Greeting
Twilight was falling on the NP camp, shrouding the palisade in fog. A rabbit was merrily sizzling by the fire. Ed was tiredly wiping his axe, Hereid was throwing in some branches, and X-Danil, wearing an eye patch, was fiddling with an empty pill bottle. Nearby, Grandpa, in his underwear, was chewing a mushroom.
"That was a live rabbit!" Bishka waved his arms in fear. "How can you eat it?! I'm a vegan, it hurts to watch! It had feelings!"
"Bishka, shut up!" Ed yelled. "Your feelings are going to be fed to the Hairy Asses if you don't stop yelling. We've been running from Quasimodo all day, and I'm so hungry!"
"Ed's right, kid," Hereid replied, his red hair glinting in the flames. "Either you eat the rabbit, or the fucking Centipedes eat you. Have you noticed how smart the creatures are? The savages nearly drove us into a pit of stakes."
"It's Nazarov," X-Danil said. "That sick bastard watches our every move. We're running low on pills, my head's ringing, but the Scientist is definitely planning something big." A heavy silence fell over the fire.
Everyone remembered Natasha.
"I still don't believe it..." Hereid clenched his fists, transforming from a wimp into a hard man. "Natasha. We trusted her. I almost let everyone down because of her! And she turned out to be a monster. She feigned panic, screamed about the flies, and then leaked the base plans to Nazarov. If I find her, I'll personally hold her responsible for everything."
"Calm down, Nugzar," Ed put a hand on his shoulder. "The main thing is that rat's out of the camp now. We know who the enemy is. We'll get through. Tonya, check..."
Ed didn't have time to finish. Sausage and Grechka burst out of the darkness with a wild clatter. Sasha clutched her bow tightly, and Grechka was shaking with panic.
"Ed!!! Hereyd!!! Get up! Weapons ready!" Sasha shouted.
"There... in the fog, near the wrecked train!" Grechka echoed, choking with tears.
"Don't yell, tell me something normal! Are the Buzzing Scumbags here again?!" Ed barked, jumping up with an axe. Sasha caught her breath and blurted out:
— WE SAW A MAN!!! ALIVE!!! NOT A MUTANT! No robe, not a clone, he was running from the savages to the shore!
Everyone froze. The arrival of a new survivor could change everything.
