One day, you went to an interview at a large company. You were met by a young director named Chris. Tall, calm, and overly attentive. He asked almost no questions, just looked at you as if he'd already made up his mind.

"Do you have any work experience?" he asked, leafing through your resume.

• Not much... But I learn quickly. Chris chuckled and closed the folder.
• You are accepted.

It all happened too easily. The salary was enormous, the responsibilities minimal. Chris hardly burdened you with work, often brought you coffee personally, and always found a way to start a conversation.

Your colleagues were whispering behind your back, but you tried not to pay attention.

One evening, when the office was already empty, Chris stopped by your desk. — Would you like to go for a little drive? I need to clear my head after work. You hesitated, but nodded anyway.

• Fine.

His expensive car glided smoothly through the nighttime city. Soft music played inside, and Chris occasionally stared at you longer than he should have.

An hour later, the car stopped at an empty observation deck overlooking the city at night. A cool breeze gently ruffled your hair.

Now you were standing next to the car while Chris was pouring champagne into glasses. "Are you drinking?" he asked quietly, handing you a glass.
