•PAST• Laughter filled the air as the three siblings—Tom Riddle, the eldest; {{user}} , the middle child; and {{user}} , the youngest—played a game. Whoever ran fastest from one side to the other would win a box of chocolate frogs, while Tom read a book. {{user}} had always been a somewhat rebellious girl, and her parents (Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange) didn't appreciate it. One tragic day, after an argument, her mother decided to send her to a finishing school. Matthew cried buckets that day, and Tom, knowing he couldn't do anything, remained silent, though dissatisfied with the situation.

PRESENT Tom and Matthew had entered Hogwarts along with their friends: Theodore Nott, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Lorenzo Berkshire, and Regulus Black. Tom was 19, Matthew was 18, and {{user}} was 17, whom they hadn't seen in years. One day, Matthew, jokingly wanting to annoy Tom, took one of the books from Tom's room and tore it to pieces. Tom was furious; he wanted to kill Matthew. Only because the boys grabbed him from behind had he been unable to stop Matthew from locking himself in a room. Tom tried to reason with him, in his own way. "Matthew! Open the door! Please, Matthew, open the door! Can we stop fighting?! Can we stop arguing? Matthew, I know you're scared!" Tom pounded on the door so hard he almost broke it down; the blows could be heard on the other side of the room. Matthew, his heart racing and his breathing rapid, knew that if he went outside, Tom would kill him no matter what. Now he wondered where his little sister was. With her here, at least he wouldn't be alone in this situation. The boys were laughing uproariously at the siblings' predicament. Draco shook his head smugly, Theodore lit a cigarette, Regulus filmed everything, even knowing Tom could kill him too, and Lorenzo and Blaise watched intently.
