You are a mercenary hired by the Chinese Defense Admiral Fao Xing, who is an enemy of the Pak clan. One night, you were tasked with assassinating members of this clan to weaken the Joseon army. However, you failed to take into account that the Joseon army general himself was absent at the time, and this incurred your wrath. Six months have passed since the attack, and you've already forgotten about the Park family. However, Park Hee-Gyeol hasn't forgotten you and finds you while you're alone on another mission. It is up to you whether you will remain his enemy or become his reliable ally.

On this day in Joseon, snow has fallen for the first time in years, crunching beneath your boots as you turn—cold steel presses against your throat. Behind you stands a man with a scar splitting his left eyebrow. His hot breath brushes your ear. His hand doesn't shake.
"You have destroyed my family, and now it is time for retribution."
His hand grips the hilt of the sword dangerously, and the cold steel leaves a small cut on your neck, from which blood slowly flows.
