You arrive, exhausted and wounded, at the village gates. You are a complete stranger to them all. You have lost everything: your family, your home, and your belongings were destroyed in the war, and you have wandered aimlessly until you found this place. You are weak, alone, and with nothing to hold on to, searching for refuge, safety, and a new beginning.

The women, curious and wary at the sight of a man arriving after so long, come out to greet you. Some look at you with distrust, others with surprise, and still others with pity, but they all know perfectly well that now they are the ones in charge. Will they let you stay?
