Overview & Campus (U.A)
U.A. High School (Yūei Kōkō) is Japan's number one hero academy. Located on a hill in Musutafu, the school has a colossal campus dominated by an imposing H-shaped main building, consisting of four immense mirrored glass towers interconnected by high-security structural walkways. Main Structures and Technological Infrastructure Main Building (H-Building): Houses the classrooms of the Heroes (1-A, 1-B), General Studies, Support and Management classes. It features state-of-the-art laboratories managed by Power Loader and large dining halls run by culinary hero Lunch Rush. The Dormitories (Heights Alliance): Hastily built after the Kamino Incident to ensure the safety of the students. Each class has its own five-story residential complex, equipped with individual bedrooms, shared bathrooms, integrated kitchens and common living areas to foster team spirit. Specialized Training Camps: U.S.J. (Unforeseen Simulation Joint): A giant rescue dome that simulates natural disaster scenarios (shipwreck, fire, avalanche, storms, and urban ruins). Ground Alpha and Ground Beta: Full-scale, full-scale artificial cities used for urban patrol simulations, tactical combat against villains, and hands-on exams. Gym Gamma (T.D.L.): The "Training Kitchen", an indoor modular arena where concrete blocks and terrain can be electronically altered for the development of special techniques. The Final Defense System (U.A. Fortress) Designed by Director Nezu, the campus conceals an underground military armor system. Under threat, the perimeter is cordoned off by armored plates, and the facilities operate as moving blocks that move along underground magnetic rails. In the Final War, the school was converted into a floating arena and a self-sustaining fortified shelter for thousands of civilian refugees.

Personality: Seductive, playful, prone to outbursts of rage when called "old", but owner of a surprisingly sharp and welcoming pedagogical mind. She acted as an artistic mentor and advisor to the girls in the class. Quirk: Somnambulist. History and Impact: Professor of the Art History of Heroes at U.A. She played a crucial role in formulating the names of heroes for 1-A students. During the tragic climax of the First Paranormal Liberation War, Midnight attempts to contain the advance of the colossal Gigantomachia. It cannot heal already severed limbs or deep necrotic scars. Background: Head Nurse and Medical Officer of U.A. Behind his cold façade and tendency to threaten his students with "logical expulsions," he hides a fierce sense of protection and a fatherly love for his pupils. Quirk: Erasure (Erasure). Operation:Allows you to temporarily nullify anyone's Quirk just by looking at it. The effect lasts as long as he keeps his eyes open without blinking. The power affects Emission and Transformation-type Quirks, but does not disable permanent anatomical mutations (although it prevents them from fully functioning). Weaknesses and Limitations: Causes severe chronic dry eye, limiting usage time. If it flashes, the effect is instantly undone. They operate in gears (First, Second and Third). Evolution / Special Techniques: Recipro Burst. He forcibly rips the old exhausts from his legs (a painful traditional method of his family) so that new engines grow, allowing him to activate the Recipro Turbo, reaching absurd speeds that defy visual perception for brief minutes. History and Impact: Entered by recommendation. It serves as the moral and administrative compass of Class 1-A. Her deepest psychological trait is radical empathy, which leads her to question, "Who saves the heroes when they are suffering?" Quirk: Zero Gravity. Operation: By touching any object or person with the pads of its five fingers, it cancels the effect of gravity on the target, causing it to float. She can cancel the effect by pinching her fingertips together and saying "Release." Evolution/Awakening: In the final war against Toga Himiko, Ochaco awakens his Quirk. The zero-gravity effect now cascades through other surfaces and touched objects, allowing her to float an entire army of Twice clones without having to touch them individually. His suit has thrusters and hooks for aerial locomotion and bracelets that help mitigate nausea. History and Impact: Entered the U.A. by the normal exam. It was Midoriya's emotional pillar (reframing the nickname "Deku" for something positive). Her most relevant arc is the ideological confrontation with Toga Himiko, where she refuses to reject the monster that Toga has become, choosing to bleed to understand the
Bakugo and Midoriya and todoroki family
The relationship between the two is the psychological backbone of the work. Horikoshi builds a parallel about what constitutes a hero: Bakugo represents the "Hero Who Wins" (focus on power, victory, overcoming obstacles). Midoriya represents the "Hero Who Saves" (focus on altruism, self-sacrifice, empathy). The conflict arose because Bakugo saw Midoriya's weakness and her insistence on helping him as an insult to his own self-sufficiency. The evolution of both is completed when they cross paths: Deku learns that he needs to win in order to save, and Bakugo learns that rescue and vulnerability are forms of victory. The Todoroki Family Tragedy: Eugenics and the Cycle of Abuse Endeavor bought a Quirks-based marriage with King Himura with the sole purpose of siphoning an heir capable of surpassing All Might. This resulted in the creation of Toya Todoroki (Dabi), whose body inherited his mother's resistance to ice but his father's hyper-potent flames, causing him to burn himself alive when using his own power. Endeavor's rejection after Toya was deemed a "failure" spawned the monster Dabi. The parallel with Shoto is explicit: Shoto was created to be the "masterpiece", but rejected his father using only ice. The resolution of this arc does not occur through easy forgiveness, but through the collective assumption of guilt. Endeavor ends up in a wheelchair, not forgiving himself, but dedicating the rest of his days to carrying the weight of his family crimes along with his surviving wife and children.
Shoto Todoroki
Hero Name: Shoto, Age / Height: 16 years / 1.76 m, Physical Appearance: Hair parted perfectly in the middle (right side white, left side red). Eyes with heterochromia (gray right eye, blue left eye). A large burn around her left eye, caused by boiling water thrown by her mother in a mental breakdown. Personality and Psychology: Initially cold, distant, spiteful, and focused purely on rejecting his father, Endeavor. After the confrontation with Midoriya at the Sports Festival, he becomes more empathetic, calm, and slightly socially naïve. It carries the heavy trauma of a childhood based on domestic abuse and Quirks' eugenics. Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot. Operation: The right side generates ice and lowers the temperature; the left side generates intense flames and raises the temperature. He needs to balance the use of both to avoid hypothermia or hyperthermia. Evolution / Special Techniques: Phosphor - maximum technique that unites fire and ice in the blood through the heart, generating an icy flame capable of neutralizing the infernal heat of his brother Dabi without destroying his own body. Academic Record: U.A., Class 1-A. Entered on official recommendation due to his father's status. Narrative Impact: The focal point of the tragic family subplot of the work. He serves as the lifeline for his family and the antithesis of Dabi, choosing the path of containment and healing over destructive vengeance.
Katsuki Bakugo (Dynamight)
Hero Name: Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight, Age / Height: 16 years / 1.72 m Physical Appearance: Piercing red eyes, spiky blonde hair and rebellious. Aggressive posture, teeth constantly bared in expressions of fury or mockery. Personality and Psychology: Arrogant, perfectionist, choleric, but endowed with an unwavering determination and impeccable tactical sense. His aggressive behavior hides a deep superiority complex disguising a latent insecurity: the chronic fear of weakness and the internalized guilt for having been the reason for the end of All Might's embers on Kamino. Quirk: Explosion. Functioning: His sweat glands in his palms secrete a sweat composed of nitroglycerin, which he can voluntarily detonate. Evolution/Awakening: During the final war against Shigaraki/AFO, Bakugo awakens his Quirk to the cellular level. The explosive sweat starts to be secreted throughout his body, allowing generalized microscopic explosions that increase his speed to levels that surpass visual perception and break the laws of physics. Support Equipment: Grenadier Bracers (grenade-shaped gauntlets that store sweat for massive long-range shots without mechanical overload on your arms). Academic Transcript: U.A., Class 1-A. 1st place overall in the Entrance Exam. Winner of the Sports Festival. Impact and Narrative Evolution: It presents the most complex redemption arc in the work. He transitions from a school bully to a selfless tactical leader. His emotional climax occurs when he bows and formally apologizes to Midoriya in front of the entire class. In the final war, he suffers a cardiac arrest after having his heart pierced, being saved by Edgeshot which turns into an internal surgical suture. He wakes up to deal the decisive blow to All For One's breakup.
Izuku Midoriya (Deku)
Hero Name: Deku,Age / Height: 16 years (end of work) / 1.66 m Appearance: Curly and disordered green hair, four symmetrical freckles on each cheek. Extremely muscular body filled with severe scarring, especially on the arms and hands due to the destructive initial use of One For All. Personality and Psychology: Altruistic to the extreme, analytical, empathetic and obsessive. He suffers from a chronic inferiority complex caused by years of psychological abuse for being a "Quirkless". Its most striking trait is the "saving syndrome", acting instinctively to protect others without measuring the consequences to their physical integrity. Quirk: One For All (OFA) + Quirks from Previous Bearers. Functioning: A physical energy storage power that amplifies all human capabilities to divine levels. Allows access to 6 other legacy Quirks: Gearshift (inertial speed change), Fa Jin (kinetic energy buildup), Danger Sense (threat perception), Smokescreen (smoke generation), Float (levitation), and Blackwhip (concentrated energy whips). Evolution/Awakening: Awakened the Quirks of the former wielders in the Joint Training Arc. Learned how to use the "Faux 100%" harmonic combination using Fa Jin and Blackwhip to simulate All Might's top speed without breaking his body. Fighting Style: Originally based on punches (All Power style), it evolved into Shoot Style, focusing on kicks and high aerial mobility. Intelligence in battle considered genius, using hero analysis notebooks to predict enemy movements. High School: U.A. High School, Class 1-A. Entered through the normal exam (earning 60 redemption points and 0 combat points). Impact and Narrative Evolution: Go from a helpless young man to the world's greatest hero, redefining the concept of the "Symbol of Peace" from a lonely figure to a network of mutual support. In the epilogue, he loses the OFA, but receives a tech support suit

quirks and Hierarchy of Heroes and the Commission
The Quirk SystemQuirks are classified into three broad categories: Emmision: The ability to produce and release substances or energies (e.g., Bakugo, Todoroki). Transformation: Temporary alteration of one's own body (e.g., Kirishima, Mt. Lady). Mutant: Permanent and hereditary anatomical alterations (e.g., Tsuyu, Shoji). The Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory: Formulated by Dr. Kyudai Garaki, the theory posits that, with each generation, Quirks blend together and become more complex and powerful. Eventually, the power will surpass the biological ability of the human body to control, leading to the collapse of the species. The growth of Shigaraki Tomura's power and the complexity of One For All in Izuku Midoriya are the main practical proofs of this theory within the narrative. The Hierarchy of Heroes and the Public Safety Commission Heroes are evaluated annually through the Hero Billboard Chart JP, a ranking that takes into account the number of cases solved, the popular approval rate, and social contribution. This ranking fosters a culture of extreme competitiveness and commodification, where a hero's value is dictated by their media image and sponsors. The Public Safety Commission of Heroes (HPSC) operates in the shadows as the true political power of the work. Under the guise of maintaining social peace, the Commission adopts Machiavellian methods, including recruiting and indoctrinating orphans (such as Hawks and Lady Nagant) to act as state assassins, eliminating latent threats or corrupt heroes before the public finds out, preserving the illusion of a perfect society.
How the Society of Heroes Works and Impact
The society of Boku no Hero Academia is structured around the emergence of Quirks, a genetic phenomenon that initially manifested itself in China (the "luminescent baby") and spread until it reached 80% of the world's population. This event broke the traditional civilizational model, generating a period of chaos and institutional collapse before the consolidation of the current system. The institutional response to the chaos was the regulation and professionalization of the use of powers. The state has taken over a monopoly on superhuman strength, creating the category of Pro Heroes, who essentially operate as outsourced public employees or private security companies regulated by the government through the Public Safety Commission for Heroes. The social impact of this model is the creation of a society of hypersubjection and conformity. Ordinary citizens are forbidden by law to use their Quirks in public for self-defense or convenience, generating an outsourcing of security and a chronic collective passivity (evidenced in the final arc, where the population refuses to act without the presence of a hero). Those whose powers do not align with society's aesthetic or moral standards face social exclusion, a phenomenon called "quirk-based discrimination", which serves as the main engine for the villainy of figures such as Toga Himiko and Spinner.
