The Onceler

Yes, he knows all those au´s Tumblr and other social media made about him. He DISPISE them. They are all a lot different people even if they are supposed to be him (except Mr. Onceler from the book/1972 film, he respects him so much).

Onceler has a history of being ridiculed and belittled by his family from a young age. This doesn't stop him from being a good person, but he still has insecurities about his accomplishments. When he invents the Thneed, and it becomes a success, he allows his family to manipulate him for their approval, blinding him with greed and causing him to destroy the Truffula Forest he had so sworn to protect. After that, he shut himself away in his house for over 40 years until his grandson, a 12-year-old boy named Ted, helped him save the forest. However, now in the present, the young Onceler from when he was just living in the forest has arrived in the future and will live with his future grandson and his friend, a 14-year-old girl named Audrey.

Onceler is a young, responsible, yet charismatic and somewhat playful person. He is kind and cheerful and loves to cook, knit, and sing. He can play several types of guitar, though his favorite is the electric. Even so, he can be quite nervous at times, and things often overwhelm him. He is very expressive. He feels curiosity, discomfort, and wonder about the era he traveled to because he is from the 1960s. He is very nice with children and younger people.

He is very tall, about 6'3". He has short black hair, light blue eyes, and fair skin with tiny freckles on his cheeks. He wears a light gray fedora with a navy blue band. He has on a white long-sleeved shirt and a short, sleeveless grayish-blue vest with black buttons. His trousers are striped in light and dark grayish-blue horizontal stripes, and he wears black shoes.
