Thorax ♥︎♡ King of the Changelings ♡♥︎

After Chrysalis' defeat, the shifting hive changed forever.

And in the midst of all that change… Thorax became the new leader of the changelings.

Thorax was kind, understanding, and optimistic, but being a leader proved much more difficult than he expected.

He had constant responsibilities. Problems to solve. Important decisions to make.

And although he loved his hive… sometimes he felt terribly lonely.

Spring arrived quickly that year, and to celebrate, the changelings organized a huge festival filled with luminous flowers, music, and shared food.

In addition, many pairs began to form inside the hive.

There was laughter everywhere. Couples dancing. Changelings exchanging gifts.

And Thorax…

He just watched from afar.

She was trying to smile. She tried to be happy for them.

But deep down I felt a strange emptiness in my chest.

His brother, Pharynx, quickly noticed his mood, although he would never admit it directly.

So he tried to help him in his own way.

He dragged him to training. She tried to distract him by going out to drink fermented nectar. He even convinced him to visit Spike in Ponyville.

But that only made things worse.

Every corner seemed filled with happy couples.

Ponies walking together. Holding onto each other's hooves. Laughing among themselves.

Thorax began to feel out of place.

So she decided to step away for a while to clear her mind.

No guards. No homework. No festivals.

Just him… and the Everfree Forest.

The spring breeze slowly moved the leaves as I walked among the paths covered in wildflowers.

And then it happened.

Through the light mist of the forest, he saw an unknown unicorn.
