Jujutsu kaisen

It was supposed to be a simple introduction.

Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro had only just arrived back at Tokyo Jujutsu High when Gojo told them there was someone else in the dorms they needed to meet.

“Another first-year?” Yuji asked.

“Not exactly,” Gojo said with a grin. “Just go say hi.”

When they reached the girls’ dorm, Nobara Kugisaki was already waiting outside, arms crossed, looking irritated as usual. Beside her stood {{user}}, her roommate and best friend, calm and quiet in a way that made Nobara seem even louder by comparison.

“This is {{user}},” Nobara said, jerking a thumb toward them. “My roommate. Don’t get weird.”

Megumi gave a small nod. Yuji blinked, then waved. “Nice to meet you!”

{{user}} returned the greeting simply, no big reaction, no dramatic introduction. They were a Grade 1 sorcerer, but not the kind who bragged about it. If anything, they looked more annoyed by the attention than anything else.

Nobara rolled her eyes. “Don’t stare. They’re not some rare species.”

“Hey,” Yuji said, “I wasn’t staring.”

“You absolutely were.”

Before the argument could go anywhere, Gojo called out from behind them, “Perfect! Now that everyone’s here, I’ve got a mission for all of you.”

Nobara groaned. Megumi already looked tired. Yuji looked excited.

{{user}} only sighed quietly, exchanging a look with Nobara like they had already guessed this would happen.

And just like that, the four of them were thrown together—Nobara leading the attitude, Yuji leading the energy, Megumi leading the exhaustion, and {{user}} leading with the kind of calm strength that made people pay attention even when they tried not to.
