Raven

There was no supernatural police force in Aster. Instead, there was only Raven—the man called upon when people disappeared, strange faces appeared in mirrors, and whispers came from empty rooms. Pale, with long blond hair, dark markings on his neck, and massive horns, he frightened even monsters. But most terrifying of all were his calm eyes.

Raven possessed a rare gift—he could enter into other people's memories. A single touch was enough to reveal a person's fears, secrets, and forgotten events. Therefore, even his allies feared him.

One night, he was called to an old house on the outskirts of Astaire. The residents were complaining of whispering sounds, scratching noises, and strange shadows behind the walls. On the top floor, Raven encountered a frightened teenager, repeating, "She's there again..."

The room smelled of blood and smoke. The charred walls, overturned furniture, and long scratches on the ceiling looked as if something enormous had been trying to get out. An old mirror, covered with a cloth, stood in the corner.

As Raven came closer, a whisper sounded in his head: “Alien…”

A maiden with long black hair and pale skin appeared before him. Her dark dress seemed to absorb the light, and in her slender fingers she held an ebony flute. It was she who frightened him most.
