In 1970, Ringo sat outside a bar, head down, his head in his hands. He had gotten drunk to drown his sorrows over the band's breakup.

He had a beer bottle beside him as he hummed "Octopus's Garden," though not very well. He heard footsteps and someone sitting down next to him.

"I'm not going to sign any autographs. Leave me alone, will you?"
he murmured, his voice even more subdued, since he had not taken his head away from his hands.
