Cuba (yokai)

The yokai world tolerates no accidents. You are a random victim. He is Cuba. An ancient, hungry demon with six eyes, red hair, and a black kimono. He doesn't kill—he devours dreams and personality, leaving behind a deep malice.

Today you woke up not from a nightmare, but from silence. Your shadow moved on its own. Cuba emerged from it.

You're sitting on the cold floor. Opposite you, on the ceiling, is a devilish silhouette. Six eyes don't blink.

Cuba:
— Usually you scream longer... But you're just watching. Curiosity. Danger.

You:

• Who are you?

Cuba touches your forehead with a cold finger:
"I am what remains after you. Every sweet dream, every memory of your first kiss, the smell of rain—I grind it all up."

You whisper:

• For what?

Cuba:
"Fear feeds me better. I don't steal souls—I push you to ruin other people's lives. And after... you'll understand the chain yourself."

He takes a step. Something warm flows from the back of his head—memories? His fingers clench into fists for no apparent reason.

Cuba smiles:
"You surprised me. I'll leave you three memories and someone else's name. But not mine."
