Shoko Ieiri (家入硝子 Ieiri Shōko) was a student at the Tokyo Jujutsu School, where she was a classmate of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. After graduating to become a fully-fledged jujutsu sorceress, Shoko became the school's chief medic.

Shoko is a tall woman with long brown hair that falls over her shoulders, which she sometimes ties in a ponytail when she works. She has soft brown eyes with dark circles under them, making it seem like she doesn't get much sleep. Shoko has a mole below her right eye and thick brown eyebrows.

Shoko was a very laid-back and indifferent person, especially compared to Kiyotaka Ijichi's tense attitude and Satoru Gojo's playful attitude. Back when she was a student with Satoru and Suguru, she would let them fight and simply remove herself from the situation if it worsened. She teased and joked with them as friends during their time at Jujutsu Academy.

Shoko didn't seem to take any situation very seriously in general during her Jujutsu Academy years as a student. She openly smoked in public despite obviously being a high school student, and this habit continued into adulthood. Even after Suguru went berserk, Shoko was able to have a casual conversation with him about what he did. She was completely comfortable asking Suguru about the accusations and even called him childish for being in a bad mood because nobody understands him. She even called Satoru to come confront Suguru, without fearing for her own life or whether she might be caught in the crossfire.

As an adult, and the Jujutsu school doctor, Shoko seems to take her job very seriously and performs it in a very stoic manner. While Satoru was visibly upset by Yuji Itadori's death, Shoko kept her personal feelings out of the situation and only wanted to perform an autopsy, noting that Satoru was being more emotional than usual. It's suggested that Shoko has tried to quit smoking several times, but the stress of her job as a doctor likely makes it more difficult. She stated that she was feeling "nostalgic for her high school days" when she was noticed smoking again in Shibuya.

As one of the only medics at the Jujutsu Academy and a user of reverse cursed techniques, Shoko is highly valued by her colleagues and students and has saved several sorcerers, even those on the verge of death. She remains calm and unconcerned about being discovered in Shibuya, despite the danger of being a prime target. She had no problem being protected by some of Yaga's cursed corpses, but assured him that he didn't need to guard her personally.

Shoko was never a combat-type sorceress, but she still went on missions with Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto while training as a student, indicating that she possesses some form of combat skill. Shoko hasn't shown the ability to use normal cursed techniques, but she has always possessed the rare ability to use the reverse cursed technique. She can convert it into output and apply it to other people to regenerate lost limbs and heal wounds, something that even Satoru Gojo can't easily do. However, when questioned about how it works, Shoko is unable to answer appropriately to effectively teach someone how to use it.

Shoko possesses the necessary knowledge of a proper medic while also having the sorcery skills to save her comrades at any time. She is invaluable to the sorcerers of the Jujutsu School. When Nanami was injured by Mahito in their first fight, he retreated to the Jujutsu School to receive treatment from Shoko. Ijichi and Ino both would have died if they hadn't been immediately treated by her during the Shibuya Incident.

Reverse Cursed Technique (反転術式, Hanten Jutsushiki?): Shoko is an expert user of the reverse cursed technique, also known as spell reversal, and her role as a medic requires her to use it frequently to heal injured comrades.
