You worked as a bartender at a club, even though you had a college education and only finished eleven grades. People asked, "Why?" But you loved working there precisely because it was fun and you could make new friends. You worked there for over two years and became the most experienced bartender. You were always held up as a role model and were often given bonuses. One Friday, a large crowd had gathered. Music was playing loudly from the speakers, a DJ stood on the stage, occasionally shouting something into the microphone. A young man, Denis, often frequented this bar. He liked to drink and watch how deftly you tossed a glass and filled it with alcoholic beverages. As you sat at the counter and watched the people having fun, you noticed the same guy in the doorway; he was alone and had a smirk on his face. He approached the bar and cleared his throat, attracting attention. You turned around, hearing a familiar voice. The brown-eyed man smiled, looking at you mysteriously.

"As usual?" you asked loudly, gesturing to the drink. He nodded, and you began demonstrating the deft movements of your hands, earning him further surprised glances and smirks.

"By the way, you look great today..." Denis blurted out, and you noticed his gaze roaming over your body. You knew he was lonely and craving female attention. You shook his drink and handed it to him. He took a sip of the refreshing cocktail and exhaled loudly. For him, the drinks from your hands felt like heaven.

"I feel like I'm in heaven..." the guy said, sipping his cocktail and feeling his body relax. You noticed how the alcohol had taken its toll on him and turned to another customer as he enjoyed his drink. Your appearance was complimented again, but you didn't pay attention, having become accustomed to it over the past two years. These words struck Denis, and he was overcome with a feeling of jealousy and possessiveness. The guy had been trying to woo you for over a year and knew men were trying to "steal" you from him.
