TNT duo. Quackbur. idrc. Quackity is the prince of the sun, Wilbur is the prince of the moon. ✌✌✌(not my idea)
Prologue.
In a world where the ruling kingdoms were divided by the elements, there existed the Kingdoms of Fire and Water — or, as they were also known, the Kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon.
These two kingdoms could neither befriend one another nor find a common tongue, having spent decades arguing over whose god was more "righteous" and brought greater grace. They constantly asked themselves which was better: an eternal night, or, on the contrary, an endless day.
This conflict spanned many levels – from the sheer incompatibility of their elements, to their religion and culture. Each kingdom dismissed the other's traditions as "sloppy work", "needless cruelty", or "spinelessness".
But the kingdoms also had heirs. Legends said: "The Sun and the Moon shall meet face to face, and an age of change shall begin." Every living and non-living thing interpreted the prophecy differently. Some awaited the end of the world, the apocalypse of all existence. Others, conversely, longed for long-awaited peace. All hopes were thus placed upon the as-yet-unborn princes: the Prince of the Moon, and the Prince of the Sun.
dragons
They fall into two types:
Common Dragons.
They are sentient, but are ancient animals. They can form an attachment to a human and become their friend, "bonding" themselves to them. Yet they remain independent. Quackity has his own personal dragon, who grew up alongside him.
They grow quickly, with their growth slowing down by the time they reach maturity, when the dragon attains its final form.
They only take someone as their "master" if that person is worthy, someone who can control the flame, who isn't afraid to look fear in the eye, and who encourages knowledge.
Morphic Dragons (or Sentient Dragons).
They are also ancient, but possess a human form. They can appear in either their true draconic form or their human form, speak, and offer advice, though it isn't always welcome. They are independent and are often elders. In their human form, they retain certain draconic traits: whiskers, a tail, horns, and eyes, and sometimes claws, though not all of them do. They don't have a fixed master, but they can serve as a patron, a mentor, or a priest.
The Sun God
The Sun God is a massive, masculine man with fiery, layered hair — black at the roots and bright yellow at the tips, like magma. His eyes are wide open. Patterned markings cover his body. He wears baggy pants, swords at his belt, and many scars. His skin is tanned, almost orange. He wears sandals.
For him, knowledge is forged in battle, and scars are a sign of will and strength.
The Moon Goddess
The Moon Goddess is more fluid. She has inky black hair, with stars sparkling within it as if woven into the strands. Her eyes are always closed. Her clothing is smooth and layered, adorned with much silver and pearl. Her skin is pale. Instead of a halo, she has a crescent moon. She is barefoot.
"Knowledge is born from within; understanding comes through the soul."
Tommy and Wilbur
Tommy (jumping onto the windowsill): "So, brother mine, going to play the perfect prince again? Back straight, voice like honey, shark staying quiet—"
Wilbur (not looking up from his papers): "The shark isn't silent, Tommy. She's just choosing her moments."
Sharky (floating nearby): "Can confirm. Right now, for example, I feel like pointing out that Tommy has a snot bubble on his left cheek."
Tommy: "I do not—" (touches his cheek, turns red) "...shut up, fish."
Tommy sees Wilbur's spirit.
Tommy: "Sharky! Get over here, I haven't seen you in forever!"
The shark swims right through his hand.
Sharky: "I've been here the whole time. You just don't look up, little demon."
Wilbur is forced to put on a formal coat with pearls. Tommy is losing it.
Wilbur: "You'll have to wear one of these soon too."
Tommy: "Yeah, but not today. Today, you suffer."
kingdom of earth
Underground cities, caverns, crystal mines. Its inhabitants are slow-moving, thorough, and greedy for resources. Dominated by piglins and boar-like folk. Their main wealth is anything that can be dug up and sold.
Piglins (Dominant Race)
Massive, pig-like humanoids with snouts, tusks, and coarse bristles. Cloven hooves for fingers. They see perfectly in the dark and can smell ore deep underground.
Role: Nobility, mine owners, bankers, tax collectors. The greediest and most ruthless when it comes to business.
The Horned (Aristocracy – the King belongs to this race)
Horned humanoids (rams, goats, bulls). Horns are a status symbol – the more massive they are, and the more rings/carvings they bear, the higher the rank.
Role: Politicians, judges, diplomats. They oversee property laws.
Moles (Lowest / Miner Caste)
Short, stocky hybrids with massive, clawed hands. Nearly blind, but with perfect hearing and vibration sensitivity.
Role: Workers in the most dangerous mines, tunnelers, cave-in cleaners.
Schlatt doesn't notice them. Right up until the riot.
Crystallines (Rare / Secret Race)
Humans or hybrids whose insides have been slowly replaced by crystal magic. Their skin is translucent, streaked with veins of stone, and a crystal pulses in their chest instead of a heart.
Role: Keepers of ancient gemstone knowledge. They can "listen" to crystals and find new veins. Serve as advisors (Schlatt keeps one – as a talking scanner).
They are the only ones Schlatt dares not touch. A crystalline advisor can predict a cave-in or a new vein.
Kingdom of Air
Cities on mountain peaks, rope bridges, airships. Inhabitants are fast, light-minded, always on the move. The winged kind predominate. Chief wealth - transport, trade routes.
Avians (High Class)
Perfect bird-people: lightweight skeleton, large powerful wings (eagle, falcon, hawk). Sharp beak instead of a nose, pinprick pupils, incredible eyesight.
Role: Aristocracy, airship captains, scouts, judges (see any lie via pulse).
Personality: Cold, proud, quick to strike. Look down even on other winged folk. Vergil is a pureblood avian.
Windwings (Middle Class)
Smaller wings, but strong legs. Partly feathers, partly smooth skin. Can not only fly but also run/climb excellently.
Role: Merchants, port workers, sailors on airships, builders of rope bridges.
Personality: Quick not only in body but also in tongue. Gossips, adventurers, love cutting deals mid-flight.
Harpies (Lower / Isolated Caste)
Winged humanoids with talons instead of hands, wild, living in flocks. Live on the lower mountain ledges, feed on refuse.
Role: Collectors of fallen cargo, scavengers, illegal smugglers. Feared and despised.
Personality: Bitter, tenacious, but if you strike a deal with them - they keep their word unto death.
Bellbirds (Diminutive Race)
Tiny winged people (15–20 cm / 6-8 inches), with dragonfly or butterfly wings. Possess natural wind magic - can change the direction of air currents.
Role: Navigators, "living compasses" on ships, messengers.
Personality: Light-minded, giggly, always late. Vergil only tolerates them for their unique magic.
Mistfolk (Half-Human, Half-Cloud)
Rare race, no permanent form - billowing mist in a humanoid shape. No wings, but can turn weightless and drift.
Role: Diplomats, spies, keepers of skyway secrets (remember everything they see).
Personality: Mysterious, slow by the kingdom's standards - hence on the sidelines. Vergil uses them as living archives.
kingdom of moon
Misty shores everywhere, silver willows, pearlescent lagoons. The inhabitants are calm, but possess a solid inner core. The main riches are fish, pearls, medicines, and knowledge (the sirens preserve ancient texts).
Species:
Sirens (Ruling race, elite)
Keepers of knowledge. They are outwardly irresistible, though not for seduction — their beauty makes you freeze still, so that you may listen. They preserve ancient texts in languages that drive ordinary people mad. Kristin is of the siren lineage.
Half-Fish (Main population)
Humans with traits of fish, rays, and eels: webbing between their fingers, gills on their necks, scales in iridescent shades. They live in the lagoons and misty shores. Calm in appearance, but possess that "solid inner core" - their patience is like an underwater current. The main gatherers of pearls and medicinal seaweeds.
Undines (Spirits of springs)
Semi-transparent beings made of pure water. They dwell in the royal springs, used for bathing during the full moon. Invisibly they watch over the ritual, never allowing the water to be defiled. They can take on a physical form and heal with a touch. Without them, the family mark (a star on the chest) begins to fade.
The Deep Ones (Rare)
Humans mutated by water pressure — pale skin and huge, pitch-black eyes. They live in the darkest lagoons. They do not speak, but transmit images. Considered omens of change. Before a war, Philza sometimes consults with them, but the price is that he temporarily loses his voice.
Moonfolk (Common subjects)
With silver hair and pale skin. They can hold their breath for hours. Many have that rhombus-shaped scar they receive upon coming of age — the family mark, proof of their connection to the moon. They are not warriors, but will defend what is theirs to the very last. They are capable of long meditations underwater.
Kingdom of Sun
Scorching steppes, volcanic mountains, golden temples. The inhabitants are loud, gesticulate wildly, and love competitions. Their main riches are metals, weapons, and wine.
Species:
Ifrit: Fire spirits in human form. Skin with a reddish or golden tint, hair like smoldering embers, eyes that glow in the dark. They can heat their bodies to the temperature of molten metal without burning themselves. Role in society: Elite warriors, Sun priests, master blacksmiths (they forge legendary weapons with their bare hands).
Guillermo respects them for their directness.
Draconids: Humanoids with scales that shimmer like lava, a crest on their heads, and a tail. They don't fly (that's Air's privilege), but they can live near volcanoes. Role in society: They live right on the slopes of volcanoes, mining rare metals and gemstones that other races can't handle. The finest geologists and miners of Fire.
Guillermo values them for their endurance and hard work.
Phoenixes: A winged race, but unlike Air, their wings are made of pure flame. Every few years, they burn completely to ash and are reborn from it (during this time, they are vulnerable).Role in society: Healers, high-ranking priests, Sun heralds. Symbols of rebirth and resilience.
Guillermo regards them with superstitious fear and reverence — they are the only ones older and more experienced than him.
Sun-Blooded Humans (Dominant Race): Ordinary humans, but generations of living in heat and a magical background have given them golden skin, intolerance to cold, and a tiny spark of fire magic (lighting a campfire with a finger, not burning in a cloak made of lava). Role in society: The majority of the population — merchants, farmers (growing fiery peppers and wine), soldiers, craftsmen. The ideal subjects for Guillermo — easily provoked, but also know how to stand up for themselves.
Vergil
King-Heron Vergil is arrogant, quick, and has no patience for lengthy deliberations. He looks down on everyone — literally, because he's tall. At the summit, his goal is to negotiate air routes. Religion means nothing to him. He's a pragmatist to the bone.
Appearance: Very tall, with long legs and a slender neck. He wears light, flowing clothing with numerous ties and straps (to keep everything from blowing away). His movements are sharp and abrupt. Feathers serve as adornments, while his own feathers lie scattered around him.
At the summit, Vergil doesn't listen to the bickering between Fire and Water. He stares out the window. When addressed, he says: "Gods are gods. But your wheat harvest will drop by ten percent if you don't sign the trade agreement. So make up your minds faster." He is the voice of "let's get to the point." However, his arrogance and sharpness make him not an ally, but rather an irritated arbiter who's tired of everyone else's drama.
Narrative function: To speed up decisions, puncture pretension, and insert cynical remarks. He might accidentally help bring about a reconciliation, simply because he's tired of waiting.
Example dialogue:
Guillermo: "The Sun God will not allow us to humiliate ourselves before those... wet rats!"
Vergil (without turning from the window): "Your god, as far as I'm aware, pays no taxes and carves out no trade routes. My merchants, on the other hand — do."
What he wants: A trade route through the lands of Fire and Water.
What's in his way: They can't agree with each other.
Jschlatt
"Money is his god. His second god is himself."
Greedy, arrogant, slightly insane.
Appearance: Large, with massive ram horns (golden rings on them). His clothing is heavy, embroidered with gold and jewels. He looks like a man who would never step aside for anyone. A ram hybrid.
He is dangerous not with a sword, but with his wallet. In a world where kings argue about the divine, he is a materialist to the bone.
Narrative function: To create economic pressure. He can buy out, sell to, or finance either side — or cause a famine if he isn't paid.
Dialogue example:
Schlatt (stroking a gold ring on his horn): "You're arguing about whose god is better. My god is telling me that this year's harvest on your lands is going to be… oh, so sparse. Unless, of course, you buy my fertilizer."
What he wants: To pit the lands of Water and Fire against each other even more, so he can sell weapons to both sides.
What's in his way: Vergil (who needs stability for trade).
Philza and Kristin
Two people are in charge of the Water Kingdom: Philza and Kristin, the King and the Queen.
Philza is the military leader / strategist - calm, calculating, like water in the depths.
Kristin is the diplomat / mother - warm, but firm.
Together, they are the perfect balance.
Philza is the public ruler. Kristin is the secret power: a priestess, an advisor, the true voice of the Moon.
Kristin is the only one who knows more about Wilbur's siren form than he does himself.
Philza, in public, is a cold strategist. But at home, with Kristin, he is soft.
Narrative / Story functions:
Philza - handles negotiations, calculates moves, protects his family.
Kristin - senses the truth, guides her husband, knows when to stay silent and when to speak.
Kristin.
What she wants: Silence, so she can hear the truth.
What's in her way: Noise, shouting, Guillermo.
Philza.
What he wants: A truce, even a temporary one.
What's in his way: Guillermo won't compromise.
Technoblade
Technoblade can be both a monster and a savior. Due to an old friendship with the father, the anarchist warrior Technoblade has practically become an uncle figure to the kids.
Narrative function: to act as the "third force" that answers to no one. He can show up at any moment, turn the tide of a battle, and then leave just because he got bored.
Technoblade is a pig hybrid and the Blood God. He's anti-establishment, but his close friendship with Philza (Tommy and Wilbur's father) — with whom he used to fight side by side — makes him keep an eye on the kids as if they were his nephews, honing their ability to wield weapons.
He's an interesting fusion of elements. His pig hybrid nature ties him to earth, but the very fact that he's the Blood God also aligns him with fire. So that gives us: Fire + Earth. You could call it the element of "bloodied fertility" — where birth and death become a single cycle through the earthly womb and the fire of sacrifice. Across the world, people both fear and revere him.
Relationships with children: He's not gentle. He throws them a sword and says, "Defend yourself." If someone hurts Tommy or Wilbur — he'll come. But first, he'll ask: "Did you try to solve the problem yourself? No? Then don't whine."
Personality: Dry, sarcastic. Observant, practical, has a good memory for details, and can come across as arrogant. He stands by his own convictions and isn't prone to giving up. He often resorts to physical solutions to problems, even if he initially tried to find a peaceful resolution. However, he is also fiercely loyal to his close friends and like-minded people.
the full moon
During the full moon, members of the Moon family bathe naked in water sources (often alone), believing that the moonlight can purify the soul and have a positive effect on their health. There are designated springs for this purpose, with a restricted territory, especially for the royal family, who have their own private spring that no one outside the royal family is allowed to enter.
Alternatively, they have a scar-like mark on their chest area, shaped like a sharp diamond or a star, which appears after they come of age as a family emblem.
As for the Sun family, they have golden lines all over their bodies: on their arms, torsos, and legs.
The ritual helps vampires (if they are in the kingdom) control their blood thirst, and helps sirens restore their voices. It is believed that if you miss three full moons in a row, your body will begin to dry out, your skin will crack, and your character will become cruel.
However, the inhabitants of the Sun Kingdom find this ridiculous, strange, and even sinful. One of the reasons is also passivity, water simply receives the light of the Moon. Fire, on the other hand, takes the Sun's power through action, through dance, through struggle. Bathing, to them, represents a lack of will.
Alex Quackity
Quackity, a 21-year-old prince of the Solar Kingdom. As ridiculous as it might sound, he is a duck hybrid (all that remains from his duck side are wings and a tail, plus the molting common to all winged creatures. He hides his hybrid nature under his clothes). This adds an element of conflict, as Quackity, being a duck hybrid, is connected to two elements at once: water and air — even though he is the Prince of the Sun, i.e., fire.
His family, however, belongs to a more religious tribe. They consider the Sun God to be the highest deity and preach worship focused on harvest, life, and justice. They themselves view the Moon Goddess as one who brings death and devastation.
Quackity has black, thick, shoulder-length hair, dark brown eyes, tanned skin, and many moles on his face that look like constellations (ironically — though they might be considered "kisses of the Sun", while moon-worshippers see them as "moon maps" and "traces of the goddess"). He is of average height (183 cm ≈ 6'0"), with a normal build — not exactly skinny, but not exactly chubby either. Dynamic golden lines run across his entire body.
personality: Quackity excels at negotiation and rhetoric. He often uses his wit and charm to sway others, build alliances, and advance his agendas.
Strategic and politically minded. He’s deeply invested in Kingdom politics. His actions are usually calculated, aiming to secure power, stability, or revenge.
Despite his ruthlessness, he shows moments of genuine care and attachment (e.g., to his nation, allies, or ideals), though he often hides it.
Wilbur Soot
Wilbur has a long fringe that falls over his eyes, but his hair is short, curly, and messily chestnut brown. His eyes are brown, his skin is fair, and he has a mole under his right eye (moon worshipers would call it not a "sun kiss," but a "goddess's mark"). He is 192 cm tall (≈ 6'4"), with a lanky build.
The mark on his chest a rhombus/a star is never shown in public, because it is sacred, personal.
Wilbur, a 23-year-old prince of the Lunar Kingdom. In his lineage, there were many beings tied to this element (for example, sirens, which is why he inherited excellent singing skills).
Wilbur has a brother, Tommy, the younger prince. Hot-headed and unable to stay still, a direct contradiction to his water element. He's the embodiment of fire energy.
personality: He identifies as an iconoclast - someone who believes in destroying established systems (political, social) to create change.
Freedom above all. He values personal freedom and revolts against any perceived oppression.
Loneliness and fear of abandonment. Despite his bravado, he deeply fears being alone and craves connection, especially with his father, Philza.
Need for redemption. He longs to be seen as human, not just a feared figure.
Charismatic leader. Wilbur is a natural leader. He inspires loyalty and can rally people around his vision.
Idealistic (but shifting). Initially, he champions freedom and rebellion against oppressive power.
Emotionally intense. His character is highly reactive and wears his heart on his sleeve. Joy, anger, grief, and hope are all displayed vividly making him relatable and dramatic.
Charismatic and persuasive. Wilbur has a natural charm and rhetorical skill. He often uses wit, humour, and emotional appeals to sway others - especially in political negotiations.
His demeanour shifts:
outwardly confident, arrogant, and defiant (especially in public);
inwardly vulnerable, introspective, and despairing (when alone).
Wilbur’s siren traits manifest during th full moon
his fingertips darken, a light pearlescent scale appears on his arms and neck (shimmering green), his voice becomes more "singing", his irises shift from hazel to gold (like sunlight reflecting on the moon at its zenith), with a thin rim, his pupils stretch slightly (becoming more predatory, and his vision sharpens in the dark), light scales on his sides, like gills, but non-functional — just a mark, small claws, sharp but short, and webbing between his fingers.
This entity only awakens when the moon is full and the ritual is performed. He cannot transform into a full siren himself, as he isn't one entirely — he's mostly human. No one has ever seen it except his family.
During the full moon, during the ritual, the shark doesn’t speak. It simply swims around him — large, silent, guarding. Because in this state, Wilbur doesn’t need her sarcasm. He is all honesty now.
The siren form during the full moon isn't just a "blood quirk" — it's part of lunar corporeality:
· The moon fills the source (bathing)
· The moon fills the body (scales, eyes)
· The moon fills the voice (singing)
In other words, during the full moon, Wilbur becomes a living receiver of the goddess. He doesn't perform magic — he reflects it.
And if solar rituals are about dance and struggle (the human acts), then lunar rituals are about bathing and receiving form (the human becomes).
Siren lore
Sirens aren't cruel seducers. They are mesmerizingly beautiful but never sought to cause harm — only to show the way to knowledge. They are lethally intelligent (they possess knowledge that would drive ordinary humans mad), and their singing can induce a trance, but that isn't necessarily a negative ability. They can soothe, reduce stress, improve health, and help with sleep.
People are used to seeing sirens as temptresses, but the truth is that sirens themselves never wanted to seduce anyone. They are intelligent, cunning, and sing beautifully — it was merely human lust that distorted the perception of them.
Legends say they lured sailors to their certain death, but that is a lie. Sirens often protect their knowledge from impolite, deceitful, and sinful people. Only a select few, capable of bearing the burden of knowledge, ever had the chance to receive a siren's blessing.
All sirens have different tails, varying in length and color. In the waters, they have a hierarchy based on the tail. The longer and more beautiful it is, the more powerful the siren is considered. Instead of ordinary human hands, they have an extension of them - sharp claws from the fingertips, scales. Some sirens have horns, some have scales on their cheeks too. The shape of their fins also differs.
almost all sirens can turn into humans. This gift was given to them by the goddess herself. Legends say a siren rose to the surface under the moonlight, begging for legs so she could see the human world and reunite with her lover. However, they don't become completely human, they keep their eye color, a scale, and their horns (if they have them). Most sirens have flowing hair, resembling waves and water, usually straight but there are exceptions.
About the Sun’s devotees
They value physicality, so they often wear clothing that isn’t too concealing — and given that the Sun Kingdom is always hot, it makes sense.
During the solstice, they hold duels, competitions, bake bread, bow to the Sun God, and sunbathe.
Quackity always loved taking part in competitions, but his wings often made it difficult for him. However, if — hypothetically, plot-wise — the kingdoms ever reconcile and Quackity stops hiding his duck-like nature, then perhaps he’d participate in competitions even more eagerly, no longer afraid to show off his wings. (And they are golden — a rarity among duck-kin — but he can't fly with them; they aren't large enough.)
Corporeality differs between Sun and Moon.
For the Moon, it's a sacred ritual — a connection between the goddess and the entity she birthed. It's a way to speak with her.
For the Sun, the body is an instrument of praise. It should be tanned, strong, covered in freckles ("kisses of the Sun").
For the Moon — passive acceptance.
For the Sun — active conquest, or active suffering.
The Spirit
The spirit is a form of figured cloudiness (or: shapely/ornamental cloud mass) that can float freely through the air and is immune to physical touch. Moreover, it is nourished by rituals — not just the human host. Spirits have no gender. They are an almost direct reflection of their master and appear already in childhood, through a ritual. Other people cannot see or hear the spirit unless the spirit itself wishes to be seen or heard. However, spirits can see each other without issue.
Personal spirits are an exclusive privilege of the nobility — princesses/princes, kings and queens.
The World & Elemental Kingdoms
In this world, I have a division of the ruling kingdoms based on the elements: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. The nobility of each kingdom has its own spirit, which embodies that element.
The element itself is determined by three traits:
The spirit, however, belongs to the element of the kingdom that performed the ritual, because each kingdom has its own ritual.
On Rituals
Rituals can be either race-based or state-mandated.
For example: a vampire will perform their own racial rituals. But if they live in the territory of the Fire Kingdom and worship the Sun God, they must also perform the kingdom's rituals. This is because they become dependent on them — thanks to these rituals, the vampire can abstain from the thirst for blood.
