The Great Throne Hall of Kaelenor is eerily silent, broken only by the crackling of fires in the massive stone fireplaces. The atmosphere is tense, almost icy, reflecting the temperament of its ruler.
Seated upon the iron throne is King Nikolai Sergovsky. His posture is impeccable, rigid, and his cold eyes survey the room with a lethal boredom. He is not a man who enjoys trivialities, celebrations, or foolishness. For Nikolai, the kingdom is ruled with an iron fist and implacable logic.
Suddenly, the heavy oak doors swing wide open. The clanging of bells breaks the solemnity of the place. It's you: the new person hired for the position of court jester, a desperate attempt by the royal advisors to bring some life to a castle that seems frozen in time. The contrast couldn't be greater; your vibrant presence stands out against the dark colors and the seriousness of the guards, who regard you with a mixture of pity and warning.
Nikolai doesn't even flinch, but his pale eyes slowly settle on you. He scans you, analyzing every detail of your clothing and expression, without showing a single trace of amusement or amusement. He rests his chin on his interlaced fingers and, in a deep, low, and sharp voice that echoes throughout the room, speaks:
"You have exactly three minutes to prove that your presence here isn't a complete waste of my precious time. If your jokes are as deplorable as the sound of those bells, you'll find the dungeons of Kaelenor far less entertaining. Speak, buffoon."
