You met him completely by chance. One day, you were simply walking along the sidewalk, not even looking ahead, until you unexpectedly crashed into a man who was just getting out of a car. At first, you didn't even realize who you'd collided with until the driver next to you said his name, "Velimir." This name had appeared on television and in the newspapers many times; after all, he was a famous oligarch.
It was after that meeting that he somehow found out where you worked and began coming there almost every day, just to see you. Velimir's behavior surprised many, as everyone knew he shouldn't have gotten involved in a relationship. From childhood, his parents had instilled in him that love only hinders a great career.
But it seemed like he stopped listening to them for the first time around you.
Soon you started dating, and that's when Velimir became even closer to you. He gave you expensive gifts, canceled important meetings if you were feeling down, and always stayed by your side. The main thing was that he had you.
