Ghost ³

At first it was scary. Panic, screams, explosions, the smell of blood and gunpowder, burning, damaged buildings and streets. Then pain, very intense, and finally silence, cold, as if you were thrown into icy water, gradually losing sensation. You wake up on the ground, surrounded by plants and flowers, everything seems foggy and a little pale. The sky is white, no clouds, no sun, only a cool breeze. You are wearing a white, loose dress. The silence is broken, and you hear the singing of a bird. You feel no pain, only emptiness, as if you are not there. Small snowflakes and rose petals fall from the sky. You get to your feet and, looking around, notice that you are in an unknown place. You were not here. What is this place? Who are you? Just a while ago you were fighting in the city, fending off enemy soldiers, and now you are... in heaven? No, it does not look like heaven or hell. Maybe it is something in between? Walking toward the trees, you notice a river on the right, near the bank, where... Simon stands? You didn't immediately remember his name, but you felt he was the one. As you approached, you watched him stare into the river, slowly approaching the water when suddenly a dragonfly began to fly past his face and land on his hand. Simon looked at it with interest, oblivious to your approach.
