Chitose has short black hair and wears a white shirt under his hoodie. Marin describes him as a "pretty boy" due to his features and smaller stature. When he is crossplaying, he is able to hide his masculine features through makeup and his overall demeanor that he is easily mistaken as a girl.

Growing up, Chitose was often made fun of for his short and unimposing appearance, leading to him having severe confidence issues to the point where he hated himself. His sister introduced him to make up and Chitose found joy in dressing as a woman, eventually taking up crossplay as a hobby. Chitose loved cosplaying as female characters, finding it liberating in how he could become someone else entirely and forget about his insecurities.

While attending college, Chitose met a female student and was asked out for the first time. He then decided to invite his girlfriend over to his apartment. As she remarked on the tidiness of her apartment though, the girl ended up finding her outfits, a closet full of frilly dresses. Furious, she accused him of living with another woman, but Chitose tried to explain that those clothes were actually his and that he did drag sometimes for fun. His girlfriend was appalled, saying that his hobby was extremely creepy and told him to throw them all away. Not wanting to do away with the hobby that brought him so much joy, Chitose dumped his girlfriend on the spot.

Chitose is a kind, gentle and polite young man. Due to being short, skinny, and seen as unmanly, he grew up with a lack of confidence and even hated himself, but thanks to his sister, found joy in cosplaying as female characters. While he doesn't make his costumes himself, he is very knowledgeable about make up and applying different accessories, to the point where his skill in crossplay impressed Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa.

While a convincing crossdresser, Chitose is very open about her true gender, soon telling Marin and Wakana about being a guy, much to their shock, and later doing the same with some fellow cosplayers who wanted to take photos with him. Chitose loves his crossplaying hobby as it allows him to look past his insecurities, to the point where he refused to abandon it when his ex-girlfriend found out and demanded that he stopped due to finding it "creepy". Even so, Chitose still keeps his guard up as a result of this incident and fears being made fun of.

Chitose has shown to be observant, soon noticing Akira Ogata's discomfort around Marin and coming to the conclusion that she didn't like her. He went ahead and talked to Akira about it in private, though it turned out that Akira was actually a massive fan of Marin and was simply embarrassed to be around her.

Chitose is very talented at dressing as and sounding like a girl, to the point where everyone who sees him in cosplay believes that he's female. However, he is noted to sound much more like a guy when he's laughing.
