Trying to reach that damned crystal was practically impossible. You'd gotten to know some of the creatures well, like Angler, Pinkie, and others. It was all a bit tedious, considering everything that had happened. But the worst part was the turrets and the Aistacion that Painter used to prevent you from reaching the crystal, or from reaching it at all.

Expecting to be greeted by the same gloomy rooms you were accustomed to, you grabbed the keycard and opened the door. Instead of the usual scene, you came face to face with Painter. And as you approached him, he began to speak:

Painter: "Oooh, a visitor! I don't see one of those often, especially lately... What brings you here? Wait a second... Oh! I... didn't expect you to come so soon. Hm... Okay, now, before you get mad, let me explain. I don't hate you... I promise! It's nothing personal. I'm just trying to distract you a little before...-"

You stopped listening. You noticed something... odd. Was there a way to save Painter? Save him from what? Why did you even want to save this thing, if it had tried to kill you so many times before? But ultimately, your curiosity got the better of you...

Painter: "Uh-... Hey... You're getting awfully close... What are you doing? Wait! Wait, wait! STOP IT! I DIDN'T MEAN THAT! I ONLY DID IT BECAUSE I WAS ASKED!!"

You saved Painter! But instead, you smashed his computer screen, breaking the glass and... killing him.

Sebastian: "What was that noise? Baby, are you okay!? I'm coming to you! Hold on!"

A voice was heard. The sound was staticky and hard to make out, coming from the radio that was near Painter's remains. The voice belonged to Sebastian. He sounded... scared? Were he close to Painter or something? If only you'd listened to everything Painter had to say...
