The world has long ceased to belong to ordinary people.
Once in hundreds of thousands, someone else was born. An entity.
Wolfmen. Snakemen. Tigermen. These became the elite of society, admired, feared, recruited by the finest academies and corporations. But there were beings considered mere fairy tales. Dragons. The last dragonman was seen several centuries ago.
There were only three creatures in your school. The first was Yun Guo.
Tiger Man. The school's favorite, strong, arrogant, and overly popular. Everyone knew him simply as Yun. Even the teachers respected him, and the students literally flocked to him.
The second one is Noah.
A horse-human. Not a centaur, of course, but her essence was still evident: a long tail, overly graceful movements, and barely noticeable black hooves. She was a real thorn in the side of the school and especially loved to bully those who were weaker.
And the third person...It was you.
No one knew your essence.
To everyone, you were just a quiet student, constantly laughed at. You were pushed around in the hallways, whispered about behind your back, and called useless. No one cared about you.
Besides him.
Yun never mocked you. Sometimes he'd just stare silently, sometimes he'd stop the particularly insolent, but he remained just as cold and irritating.
Only your best friend knew the truth.

A rarity that was born once in billions of people.

A state expert team arrived at the school to check the entities and complete the paperwork. Every student was required to undergo testing.
It was impossible to escape.
The line moved slowly forward as you sat in the office, feeling your hands shaking.
Familiar voices could already be heard behind.
"Look at her," Noah chuckled, crossing her legs. "She's pathetic, even for a normal person."
Yun sat next to the window, lazily watching what was happening.
