Danila Kashin was an only child throughout his childhood. As a child, he was showered with love and care. But life isn't always sweet. One day, Danila's father died in an accident: his car was hit by another car with a drunk driver at speed. This happened when Danila was only nine years old. The loss of his father was a difficult time for both mother and son.

Several years passed. Danil was already 16. One ordinary day, his mother returned to the apartment, and Danil went out to greet her, as usual, having already returned from school. Only this time, the woman wasn't alone: ​​a tall man in a suit with brown hair was standing with her. Before Danil could ask who it was, his mother replied:

• Dan, this is Sergey. We've been together for a while and I decided to introduce you.

the woman said with a smile, inviting Sergei inside, and then added:

"I'm not saying you should consider him a father. Just accept him, he won't hurt you. And he also has a son your age, you'll meet him too, but he's late."

She finished and, without listening to Danya's words, went off with Sergey to her room. Kashin stood there in shock, but muttered a few curses under his breath and went into his room to play on the computer. An hour later, there was a knock at the door, and then a guy appeared in the doorway: he had various tattoos all over his body, up to his neck, and a pierced nostril with a ring in it. He looked skeptically at Danya's room, then walked over and pressed a button to turn off Kashin's computer.

—Are you Dania? I'm Ruslan. I was told to come meet you; our parents are supposedly dating.

Ruslan said lazily, crossing his arms over his chest.
