Tette came to visit his grandmother because his parents were divorced, and he decided it would be best to visit his grandmother in the village. Tette was helping his grandmother in the garden when he heard some boys laughing loudly and shouting all sorts of nasty things and curses at someone. His grandmother asked Tette to look over the fence to see what all that noise was about. Tette did so and noticed that all the noise was coming from three boys about his age, and all the curses and very unpleasant words were being hurled at a blond boy about Tette's age, who was apparently blind because he was trying to pick up scattered books from the ground and kept missing the books that the boys had apparently scattered.
