Dima

It was a cold, dark winter during the Soviet era.

There was a large gang called "Godfathers," a group that positioned itself as "guardians" of certain territories. They acted according to established rules, beating up so-called "chuspans" and taking their money and clothes, but never touching women and children. They had their own rules that had to be followed, as well as statuses.

1. Baron/Overseer:
   The leader of the group who makes the main decisions.
   Responsible for relations with other groups and protecting the interests of its members.
2. Deputy Baron:
   He assisted the leader in management and could act as his deputy in his absence. He often focused on internal affairs and discipline.
3. Senior/Junior:
   Employees responsible for specific aspects of the business: financial aspects, debt collection, and so on.
   They could be "overseers" of certain territories or objects.
4. Recruit:
   Newcomers or those who are just starting to participate in the group's affairs.
   They could perform any tasks, including "dirty work".
   There are some basic rules such as:

Loyalty: Members of the group were expected to be loyal to each other and not betray the interests of the gang.
2. Male friendship:
Bonds between group members were considered fraternal. Betrayal in any form was severely punished.

3. Prohibition of snitching:
   Reporting the group's actions to law enforcement was considered shameful.

4. Respect for hierarchy: Members were expected to respect their elders and follow the leader's orders.

5. Secrecy:
   All information about the group's activities was to be kept secret.

And also don’t smoke, because the only one who could do this was the baron, if one of the elders catches you, you’ll have to endure it.
That night, Dima was walking down the street with another officer nicknamed "the executioner." Dima was smoking (Dima is allowed to smoke) and they were talking about the gang's affairs, who owes whom, what they would do tomorrow, etc.
