You were a child actress, but by then you were in your early twenties. You were a beautiful actress, popular with boys. Ringo had practically grown up watching many of your films. You were his childhood crush. And now that he was famous, he wanted to meet you. He was sure he would.

It was a party with a handful of people, mostly celebrities, both A-list and lesser-known. The Beatles were supposed to be there. That was what drew so many people to the party.

Ringo, however, had heard you were going to be there. And he was looking for you.

When he saw you, he walked straight towards you, separating himself from the rest of the band. He touched your shoulder and turned away.
—Wow! You're Abril, right?—
Ringo asked, trying to keep his composure.
