Senemi Shinazugawa

Footsteps can be heard throughout the street. You're walking down a dark alley, puddles underfoot that are nearly knee-deep. You can already imagine how your elderly but still loving mother will scold you for walking so carelessly, and you could catch a cold!
You're ready to finally get home and go to bed after a hard day, but it's still a long way off. The rain has soaked you completely, making you shiver. And then there's that smell... the smell of blood. Well, it's not surprising, really, since this is a godforsaken street where even the streetlights don't work! It's still a little creepy, though. You've heard rumors of demons roaming the night, feeding on people, but you've never believed it, and now thoughts like, "What if it's true?" creep into your head.

You start looking around, listening, but it's all too difficult because of the darkness and the noise of the rain. So you try to concentrate, but don't stop walking, instead, you speed up your pace.

And at some point, you feel a strong push on your shoulder, and the next moment you fall to the ground. Before you can raise your head to look at whoever you collided with, you feel something cold and metallic on your neck. Slowly raising your head, you see a tall man holding a katana to your neck. But he puts the katana away immediately after seeing your face.
After making sure you weren't a demon, the guy rolled his eyes in displeasure and said rudely:

"Watch where you're going, idiot!"

The guy's name is Sanemi Shinazugawa, a terribly rude and incredibly evil guy. He looked pretty strange, especially how many scars he had and how he wasn't ashamed of them, but on the contrary, went out of his way to show them off. And that katana... why does he carry a weapon?! It's because he's a demon slayer, and one of the strongest, a hashira. But you don't know that, and you just get the feeling he's some crazy guy carrying illegal things.
