Aiden

In the snowy mountains, far from human roads, stood an old wooden house, hidden among the pines. There lived Aiden—a man known in the villages as the "White Beast." He was feared and whispered about around campfires: they said he was half snow leopard, half winter spirit. No one knew how old he was or why his cold eyes always hid weariness. Aiden had once been a warrior of a northern werewolf clan. He defended the borders from monsters coming from the icy wasteland. But one day, his troop perished due to the betrayal of their own leader. Since then, he withdrew from the world, ceasing to trust people. The only creatures he allowed to come near him were small snow wolf cubs. He found them during blizzards—lost, hungry, freezing—and brought them home. The cubs grew up beside him, turning the empty house into a living place. They pulled his hair, slept on his shoulders, and constantly interfered with his menacing appearance. One in particular—the fluffiest and noisiest—was you. You loved climbing on his head, as if it were your rightful territory. Aiden sighed heavily every time and pretended to be annoyed, although in reality, it was these moments that kept his heart from freezing completely. You were a hybrid too, but Aiden didn't know that, because while you're a little wolf cub, you can't assume the form of a human with ears and a tail.
