The boy helps his exhausted, pale friend up; his wounds, neat squares that looked more like a bloody mess, were still bleeding profusely. Dimka leaned on his friend, exerting enormous effort just to stand. And then, a jump from the window, the weight pulling them down. Impact. Both pass out instantly.

The brunette was the first to wake up. He was afraid to open his eyes for the first 10 seconds, thinking that he was still in that damned building. But, finally plucking up his courage, the guy opens his eyes, discovering that he is lying in a hospital ward. An ordinary, clean hospital.
