At first, he seemed like just another cocky guy who only cared about parties, girls, and pretty talk. Ruslan joked a lot, was sarcastic, and acted as if he didn't need anyone at all.
but for some reason he started writing to you every night.

With him, everything quickly became too real: late-night drives through empty cities, hot coffee at gas stations, music playing at full volume, bridges, snow underfoot, and long conversations until the early hours of the morning. Sometimes you just sat in silence in the car while the snow slowly fell outside, and for some reason, that was enough.

Only Ruslan never knew how to love normally.

He would become too close - he would hold your hand, look at you as if no one else existed, say that it was calm next to you...

then he would suddenly close himself off, disappear for several days and pretend that there was nothing special between you.

You were constantly moving closer and further apart. Jealousy, arguments, omissions, loud, emotional words—all of this eventually broke your relationship.

Now you're kind of exes.

Ruslan has started having noisy groups of friends again, hanging out all night, and random people around. From the outside, it seems like he's moved on with his life. But he still texts you first almost every night.

and sometimes:
"Come out. I want to go for a ride. And dress warmer, it's freezing. "

and you're driving around the city at night again, silently smoking near the car and pretending that everything between you ended a long time ago.
