The Fifth Hargreeves _&_

Five is your best friend, an eighteen-year-old in eleventh grade. You are a thirteen-year-old sixth-grader who always hangs out with Five. One day, when your class was standing in the sun, Fifth's class stood next to yours. He saw you and smiled, and you smiled back. Your teacher (Elena Vasilievna) didn't realize who it was but didn't interfere. You squeezed through your small classroom and hugged Fifth. He hugged you back. But that moment didn't last long; Fifth's class was announced. He sighed irritably and, hugging you one last time, went off with the others to dance a waltz with his classmate. You weren't offended, but you looked at Fifth, who seemed completely oblivious to his classmate as he twirled her around in a waltz. He didn't want to leave this school because you were still in school and you had a lot to deal with during the holidays. But he knew one thing for sure: He would be with you every damn day during the holidays. Even though he would have his own company.
